Great racing last night guys. Just the fun/ppl/racingI was looking for.
1st race started bad for me. Cobris crashed into the wall and I into him. So I had to pit, but got him by mid race. On the last lap everyone around me slowed down, because they had finished and second before the end cobris flies by me. So may be I should be last in that race, not second to last as in your results Warrius.
2nd race was quite fun. Good battles and a nice result for me. Regarding the incident - sorry if I did that. If i remember correctly I slowed down, but got you on the next corner. I really can remember clearly so please let me check the replay tonight and I'll contact you and Warrius if needed on PM. I don't mind the point penalty if I deserve it.
3rd race started well for me, but a few laps in and I lost my car and my nerves. Should have driven it to the end for the points, but ... oh well.

Great nights racing again thanks all.

R1 - I couldn't hold pace with the front guys but had a great run to the flag with Warrius and Naptown.

R2 - Was great fun and best of the night! Apricot got a bit tight through the twisty bits and there was some rubbin' but it was all harmless touring-car racing :) Cpt_D was on his usual charge from the back but I managed to learn the track as we went and keep ahead of him just!

R3 - Was holding my own in 2nd and keeping on 1st and the pack caught us slightly around lap 7 and then people started jumping around the track and tyres smoking for no reason, classic lag symptoms and totally off-putting. Especially when you don't know if your going to hit or be hit by someone. It put me off and I slowed and went off the track and came back to a miserable result. Bit annoying, not sure if i was on the only one. If i was then it was my connection most likely! Was it just me? It was nice to pip Warrius on the run the line though (sorry mate ;))

A surprisingly good car the Genesis and I bet it would tune well with moderate power!

Thanks again guys, can't wait for the Dino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drandiiski, why didn't you wait after punting me off on lap two, last chicane at Apricot Hill? You had run wide before the entry, off track, and came back across the chicane as I was passing through it. You claimed to have read the Rule Book.

Sorry looking at the replay I tapped him wide through the sweeping left starting it and we bottle-necked. Apologies to both of you!

Haha... Was there a problem in the race? As i saw myself first in the last two races... I even have saved the replay and it shows me as first... Damn online problems

Yes I watched the replay and we were battling with perdy450 and in the process I did not realize that I shoved you off the track. Sorry about that. You got me a few laps in so I hope that we are cool.

No one reported they couldn't see everyone else so I assumed everything was fine.
Do you use a WiFi or ethernet connection?

Ethernet cable... Didn't know he was there lol so I didn't know I couldn't see him... 30mbps connection with 5 upload

Wait a minute, so because one guy says he has a wired connection, it's me that has the problem? jsjakesaid was the only one i couldn't see, but as last weeks races went ahead with the same issues i didn't see a problem with me running. Exactlw how many people couldn't see me last night? I seen everyone except jake.

Si

Its OK by me... I just love competing... I don't mind a one off problem... You shouldn't be paying for it at Pd's expense... Maybe try a wired connection next time dude though
EDIT: So... gave the Ferrari a go at rome... quite fun to drive (NO ABS/TCS since it's old) haven't tested the other tracks yet though

I have a wired connection, only seems to affect rooms without normal room settings for folk with a lower connection. I'm more than happy to race, as far as I know I haven't put anyone off, (other than myself) and can keep pace with the front runners easy enough.
Hopefully the update at the end of January will sort out any online problems that are happening.

I try to select a varied range of cars for my events but I can't find (m)any fun FF or 4WD cars.
Would I be too restrictive if I was to use FRs, MRs and RRs only?

what about the old civic ... or maybe a newish lightweight hot hatch...as for 4wd i don't know maybe some scooby... the fun with these though (4wd and ff is with low grip tyres though)
Actually i would love if all these races where run on comfort soft or less :)
BDW... who would be interested in hosting an other race every week (2) since there are quite some ppl interested? maybe we could start thursday nights? same car we have to use that week but different track... i can host thursday night if ud like

Well on Monday I've picked up an Impreza (I didn't know about the link between Subaru and Scooby until today...) for in a few weeks time. I wasn't that excited, though, but still kept it.

I'll have a look at your suggestions, guys.

As for having another day for races, feel free to organise something but it would probably be without me. I usually don't have any other opening for me and even if/when I get to run in another series, my first choice would be the races hosted by @watermelonpunch ...

Oh yes.
Just try the VX220/Speedster - the turbo version - on Autumn Ring Reverse (CS).
Brilliant.
Even if I finish dead last, I'll have a blast.

(5 posts out of 6... Please don't report me...)

Alright, for this Monday, with the Dino, I'm going to try without the mics.
Which means if we don't want to spend 20 minutes getting the starting grid ready, we need to be organised. So when the 1st race is about to start, I'll post here the starting grid and you'll have to make sure you exit the pits in the correct order.

Let me know now if reaching GTP while on the PS3 would be a problem...

I hope it will be ok. :nervous:

I know but I will be somewhere in the mix so it's easier for me to follow the same procedure as everyone else rather than piloting it while my car is piloting itself past other cars, for example...

Regarding todays race - I have some back problems/pains, so I'm not sure if I can drive all three races. I will do my best in the first one and then leave so others can join. Is that OK with you?

There should be room for anyone so you do the race(s) you can (or none if it hurts too much) and don't worry about the others... ;)
Look after yourself.
