Hey, BH, you put my debits for Class D at 11,100, but it should be at 11,300 leaving me with a balance of -0-. Full-custom tranny for the Stingray was 10,200 and weight 1 was 1,100.

Yet again I decided to keep all of my cars as they were, but that will change very soon.
A) The little fiat was underpowered up the back half of the track, but made up for it on the straight. I saw 73mph before passing the Honda Life Step Van into turn 1 on the second lap.
B) The Civic was surprisingly quick off the line beating everyone else into turn 1. There then followed 2 laps without any traffic. Easy, consistent times.
C) As above, the Z-car might as well have been running on an empty track.
D) The Mustang continues to suffer poor traction, being very slow off the line and sliding round most of the corners. Not confident about my time, but soon I'll be able to afford better tyres.
E) The 427 was actually easier to drive here than the above. 3/4 throttle off the line and I led into turn 1, taking the corners easy and romped home to a class victory.
Suzuka East times submitted.

Resisting the urge to go begging for donations I ran the sixth race with most of my cars still as they left the factory! After this one though they are all going to get their first oil service and those that can afford it will be getting new boots too - except for the fiat where I have other plans.
A) This was the first chance I've had to really test my cars, and the Fiat demostrated its lack of power but showed that it had plenty of grip and adequate gearing. A top speed over 70mph was limited by lack of power to overcome aero drag, so thats where I'm going with this one. The car is already being stripped down for some new parts that will be ordered as soon as I get my prize money from this last race.
B) Meh. A bit slow and a bit slippery. Anything mid pack would be a good result for the Civic.
C) Despite having the funds to modify the 240ZG now, I felt it best to wait and take it to the shop with all of the others at the end of the week. Makes it easier to track the bills if they all come in at once. I might miss out on a few points that I could have gained, but it'll be worth it in the end.
D) The Shelby Mustang must come with a close ratio gearbox as standard as I was bouncing off the limiter with plenty of oomph left under the hood. Much as I would like to rectify that, the car has more pressing issues to deal with first.
E) Plenty of go in the 427, and the gearbox presented no problems either. Grip was the main issue here, forcing me to take an unconventional approach to the banked oval. How fast it was is yet to be seen but it was interesting not to be following the pack along the line of least resistance.

Asia Grand Prix
The Asia Grand Prix continues here in Japan with slightly longer courses. We finish up the medium courses in Japan with Clubman Stage Route 5 here in Tokoyo. To finish up we start the long series of tracks in Japan at Twin Ring Motegi East Short Course and Suzuka West. The longer courses bring different points and larger prizes for those races. Fans of the classic series are packing into the stands for each race, the longer tracks have larger grandstands and media more access to the events, increasing its exposure.
