* At Laguna Seca I found a BMW and Mercedes repeatedly moving from side to side right in front of me, but my new tyres allowed me to outbrake the pair of them and get past is turn 5 though I did give one of them a slight nudge in the process.
* At Deep Forest I discovered the car wants to swap ends in hard braking from high speeds. Turns 1, 13 and 15 all highlighted massive entry oversteer. Not sure what I can do to correct that other than adapt my driving to account for it.
* Special Stage Route 5 reinforced the idea that my car is no good at high speed - I found it's top speed and it was lower than I expected. Quite a lot lower. At least it makes up for it in acceleration and grip.
* My first two race times at Seattle were within three hundredths of each other. Talk about consistent. I did however manage to find another 1.5 seconds on the third attempt by using the cars tendancy to oversteer to my advantage at the hairpin.
* I crashed out in the first race at Apricot hill and oversteered off into the grass in the second. This left me one change, and chance it I did by slicing through most of the pack in no time leaving me a lap and a half to catch and pass the Nissan GTR Concept. Ultra modern and 4WD he was a force to be reckoned with but I got my chance when he understeered through the long left of turn 6 on the second lap.

3rd Circuit

The 3rd Circuit continues. We start off with a mountainous course favored by some drivers in the league and elsewhere. The most famous course this week is Infineon Raceway and its Sports Car Course. This week has a wide mix of courses to challenge the racing field, from to a scenic mountain course to a city course and formal tracks. Which driver will fare well this week?

Gentlemen to your cars. Start your engines!

Long story short this is a replay of my slightly faster Cote d'Azur time then the one I submitted. Turn the volume up. LOL

I realise this isn't the actual replay of the time you submitted, and don't get me wrong I'm not having a go here, but there's a few things you should bear in mind for future reference:

Sadly, this doesn't actually prove anything, except that you a) drive a little aggressively w.r.t. the AI (especially the T-boning of the 'Cuda into Mirabeau), b) you drive a Camaro with a wing, c) you like hot sauce, d) own a copy of Tourist Trophy and e) are sometimes flatulent! ;)

When posting a replay video it's important to go from the replay browser screen and film the replay loading, that way the car, it's power and it's tyre type are displayed before, and as, the replay begins. 👍
While the power displayed at the beginning of a replay is invariably wrong (since it doesn't account for worn-out engines HP loss prior to an oil change, or a new engine with the 5% new oil increase) it at least serves as a guideline.
As you know I was asked to try this out myself, and given the same car & specs as yourself, I was able to post 3'41 - 3'44 races, however, I drove in a much more conservative and clean style w.r.t. to the AI, only taking gaps that were there, having 1 or 2 AI minor scrapes, or none at all, which cost me time. (As I personally interpreted the "minimising collisions with the bot cars" ruling from post#1) If I drove like you did, I could probably match 3'39 without issue, so your time is legit w.r.t. the capabilities of the car with the parts & tyres declared, but I wouldn't personally have submitted anything like that myself.
Just my

and given I have nothing to do with this championship I should probably just be ignored!

and given I have nothing to do with this championship I should probably just be ignored!

I was pretty much side by side with the cuda when he came down into me. The car before that, that I almost rear ended, was clearly going left before I passed him. I didnt realized I burped until I watched the video. I didnt try to rear end the guy I did. I like franks redhot wings buffalo sauce, and TT, I thought a great game and great hot sauce deserves a little advertising. I started the replay there so I didnt have to mess with the controller 1 handed, next time I will film it better. What does w.r.t. mean?

Thanks for the advice, and verifying my time is possible.

I think I'm going to have to drop out of this one guys, sorry. I knew time would become tight around now, but I didn't think it would be so bad. I hope to compete in the next one, but for now I have to take a break.

Holding down a job and packing for college is a pain, then I'm moving in, etc. :grumpy:

Flynn, might want to cancel your bet on me.

I wish to pay Flynn77 the 1000 Cr that I owe him and the 500 Cr I owe AndersonG22. Thanks again guys for lending me the money.

This is, of course, assuming no-one else objects. I'd hate to upset the dynamics you guys have going on.

A hybrid driver, hothorses or Small_shoe could be created to complete the season.

I'd happily donate my cause to the car. :sly:

Just be aware, I have missed the last two race weekends because I'm just flat out of time. If everyone's cool with it, I think it would be fun to let smallhorses compete even if his points don't count. 👍

No worries. Small_shoe reporting for active driving duty. ;)
What're my race deadlines that need to be met in the immediate future, and by when?
I'll have to check I've got the right car, purchased at roughly the right time and correct-ish mileage in my garage. Many of the things I've got were at their lowest mileage, and it could be a while of cycling gamedays until an appropriately worn one appears, especially if this car was available as a 6.2 mile special. I'll pootle off and do some research...

No objections hot_horses - I'd like to keep the field as large as possible for as long as possible.

You are still 4th in a field of 10 despite missing two weeks of racing! With Smallhorses skills that could even become third, though I doubt the two leaders can be caught now.

Next deadline is sometime on Sunday so no rush.
You're looking for a '95 Mazda RX-7 Type RZ for 13,859cr. It appears at that price 31 weeks out of 100, and at a higher price 25 times in the PAL version. i don't believe the mileage makes any diference except to price unless you have the 6.2 mile version.

Right, I've just splashed out €4,700 on a triple clutch, €3,000 on a carbon driveshaft and €5,500 on stage 2 weight reduction, leaving me with €7,945.
