Car-less, your betting shop has one major flaw. If people don't report their purchases until the very last minute, the odds can change drastically. I won't go so far as to call it "manipulation of odds", but perhaps a deadline for reporting purchases can be made so as to result in more accurate odds?

The betting shop has quite a few flaws, another two that I just found this week.

Late reporting of purchases does not affect the odds for any given week as they are based on the previous weeks parts (and points standings - though this has now been changed).

The weekly report will be published just as soon as this weeks car changes are completed.

SVX
I did horrible! I'm looking for a car now, if I don't I will tragically get SMASHED. I guess every bit helps, as I got 14 more credit!

By my calculations you will have 9,928cr to play with, leaving you to choose between the ever popular Camaro or a Toyota MR2 GT-S '97 if you are to have any chance of being competitive.

As for me, I can now afford to get rid of the FTO and move up to a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI RS '99 for 12,990cr. I was hoping for the Tommy Makinnen Special Edition, but these are so poular that they seem to be carrying a 4,000cr premium which is set to continue for the next 280 game days.:grumpy:

Where I'm wrong? What is the part that I'm wrong?

You seem to have missed the cost of your Sports Flywheel back in the beginning.

I bought a Nissan 300ZX 2seater (Z32) '89.
Price :13,824.

After a 50Cr oil change I have 3688Cr.

The car's specs are:

Type: V6: DOHC
Displacement: 2960cc
Power: 275 BHP /640rpm
Torque: 387.10NM / 3600
Mass: 1510 Kg
Drivetrain: FR
Mileage: 68629,3 Km

Then I went to HKS and bought a racing Flywheel (1,050Cr) and a weight reduction kit (1,200Cr) that put the car with only 1328Kg.
Now I only need short amount of credits to buy something in the power department.
*cof* Flynn I want my money *cof*

Now can somebody help me, how do I put the "stickers" on the car. I tried some tutorials but I can't do it. I have CS3 if that helps.

Hang on, I think I'm missing some winnings from the betting shop. I put 500 Cr. on myself at 2:1.

So Car-less is that a formal declaration of selling your car? Sometimes it is hard to tell.

Yes. I went to the local Mitsubishi Garage and traded the FTO in towards a nice Lancer Evo which I treated to an oil change and some functional aero.

I'm waiting on SVX to decide on his new car before writing the betting shop report, but long story short you are up 1,000cr, Anderson is up 2,000cr and I am up 500cr. Everyone else lost.

At Infineon I felt that I was in a Japanese 4WD race - competing against a 3000GT, Evo, GT-R and Impreza. Only the lone Mercury Cougar looked out of place. Getting a feel for my new wheels my first two races were rough and even the third was not without incident - I tapped the back of the Impreza approaching turn 2, and the GT-R rubbed into me between 3 and 4.

Monaco too was untidy. This time I was the odd one out in a Pan-European race with a field of Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Jaguar and Lotus. My best race saw me crash into the side of the Audi at Loews hairpin on the first lap, and execute a lovely pass on the Jaguar to take the lead in the same place on the second.

I thought I had Motegi sorted in one lap after making my way through to second place without any damage that wouldn't buff out. Then I found myself drag racing a Plymouth Superbird the full length of the main straight! 4WD traction saw me doing well for the first half before the rev limiter let the Superbird regain ground. I outbraked him at the bottom of the hill, and turned in only for the swine to turn into the side of me. Had it been a human driver he would have seen me both ahead and on the inside line, but not the AI. It just goes where it wants to no matter who is in the way. No matter. I Managed to stay ahead and he didn't trouble me again.

🤬 AI. I had everyone except the Plymouth Cuda drive into the side of me in at least one of the three races, and the Cuda probably would have done the same had he not been behind everyone by the top of the hill. I 🤬 hate this track - most likely due to the fact that it is not used in the game, so nobody really knows how to get through the turns at the top of the hill.

Midfield and finally a clean race. I was beginning to fear that I had lost all of my skills and returned to amateur level bumper cars! Only one of the three attempts was clean though, and that was down to me ignoring the racing line and driving where there was no traffic - well until there was no traffic ahead of me and then I could look for the fastest line.

Times submitted, Replays saved - except for Suzuka, and memory card full. If you want to see any of these you'll have to request them before I run any more races!

I've bought a semi-racing suspension (Cr. 7,400), racing flywheel (Cr. 1,050) and a sports intercooler (Cr. 1,800).

* 1:7 will be rounded to 3:20 when I have to payout.
# 1:3 will be rounded to 7:20 should I have to payout.
+ I will not be accepting any bets on SVX as I don't know what he is driving.

As always this is odds on gaining any podium position in any race this week.

However, after paying out so much last week I'll now only accept bets in multiples of 20cr with a limit of 200cr per bet.

You may still place up to 5 bets - with a total limit of 500cr.

I'm putting 200 Cr. on myself.
