Hmm, not so sure it's completely fair that I didn't gain any ballast. I don't exactly want the ballast, but I achieved the same points as mainman and FAK_EV1L so I'd expect to be sharing the ballast. Just a thought.

That's what I thought it was, maybe best to finish 5th in the feature race and win the sprint? :-)

It says that the ballast on dual heat events will be applied based on the combined result of both races. So, since I got 40KG, it means that I took victory on the round overall? GV finished second on Feature, shouldnt he have 30KG? Or did he drop any ballast on Sprint? I'm confused. I need more details if possible, I would appreciate it. 👍

On another note, for the last race, what track will we be doing? Deep Forest for tha' win!

So would I ... a standings sheet perhaps?

I calculated scores, you and I were tied for first at 29 points, I might have got some detail wrong, but that would explain the ballasts.

NEPALII gas 30 points, 20 in the feature, 6 in the sprint, 3 completion bonus, 1 for 3rd fastest lap in the feature race.

OH ok so the ballast is applied on all the points added up! Man, by 1 point between me and cicua! This is crazy!

Looks like the ballast has been updated in round 2 corkscrew gt thread, and it's been done the way I understood it to be I thinks, which is 3rd and 4th place ballast devised between the drivers tied for those positions?

If we do this Dom, the 1st seven drivers in GT500 will have ballast...

1st 40kg
2nd 30kg
3rd 4th and 5th 20kg
6th and 7th 10kg

Sounds fair?
 
Ok top 4 gets ballast right? So if there are many 3rd and 4th places I say ALL of the drivers must have ballast. If there are 4 drivers tied for 3rd those 4 drivers should get 20KG ballast. Simple :D

Why not just separate any draws by looking at their best results?

So someone who finished 2nd and has 30 points would get the higher ballast than someone who finished 3rd but still has 30 points? Just a suggestion.

In pal Gt500 there are 3 drivers tied for 3rd (effectively 3rd 4th and 5th positions) so the ballast up for grabs in those positions is 30kg total, this gets split between those 3 drivers = 10kg each

And if you're wrecked, GET OUT OF THE WAY. Harrison, it wasn't very cool when you had your car weaving all slow on the front stretch, endangering other peoples races just because you crashed on the formation lap. I had to weave and squeeze me way between you and the grass then I look back and see you almost took out I think it was TeamRad.

When the race starts, chat should not be used AT ALL unless by a Steward or Admin. I don't like reading your rage comments and how you'll quit the series while I'm in the middle of a race.

Yes, you should absolutely never ever text during a race at all, ever.

It's one of the most ridiculously dis-respectful thing you can do while people are trying to race.

Harrison, PM me the name of the people who were raging in text please.

90% of the time it will be the result from the feature race then, as it's reverse grid and less laps in the sprint
 
hey, one question. in our sprint, gt300 PAL Div 2, there was some confusion over starting on the mediums. toyotsupra stated we could not start on the mediums so we didn't, but I thought tire choice was completely open (between hard and Med) providing only 1 set of mediums is used per race?
