On the whole it's really a shame that I have to look at Forza 4 gameplay on youtube in order to see detailed cockpits of many interesting cars. Come on PD, give us more PREMIUMS!!!

But I really doubt we'll get new premiums at all, because PD modeled only 150-200 premiums car during five years before the release. Since then we have received only abouty twenty new premiums. So it's likely that we won't get any new premiums (except Gt Academy) since PD have to keep some new content for the next GT.

And all the while, two Vipers are coming to Forza4 for FREE!!!

Yep. And they're plugging the 24hrs of LeMans bigtime with their sponsorship and community activities. The sad thing is PD won't be doing anything to support this event...maybe a seasonal if we're lucky...using the outdated and forgotten Audi R10. What a downer.

Wait you mean we're not in the year 2006? :sly:

Nah, surely they'll be using the Nissan LMP2 car, since it's being driven by a GT Academy winner which gives them a great promotional link up. I think I heard they're even doing a live competition during qualifying, another great opportunity to link up the famous race, the GT Academy and the LMP2 car that we've had in GT5 as DLC since it was first run at Le Mans last year.

Oh, wait...

Hurray Forza 4 is getting a free Viper YAAAY! *Sarcasm* Like, no one cares dude, NFS Most Wanted 2012 is getting the Viper too.

HA! And how do you know the Viper race car is coming. What, the logo on it? Pff. Don't get ahead of yourself. It MAYBE is.

I know I might draw a lot of hate from this, but while the lack of DLC is annoying, I think that we should get the 2013 Nissan GT-R Black Edition.

As for Forza, don't we have a forzaplanet.net website?

Yes we do. Guess they're just lonely. :)

PD is rich and don't give a f... anymore. You people need to wake up!!!!
If this was true,
why are they still adding seasonal events and why do they still update the game?

maybe the updates are not what everybody would call successful but still, PD invests time and thus money in a game that has been out there for 1,5 year.

Agreed. Someone is to *standard* and kept forgetting about PD still supporting this game. Looks like he's the one who needs to wake up. :sly:

For the love of monkeys, why? It's exactly the same on the outside, and a few tweaks underneath. We don't need more slight variations of the same car, that's what GT5 already suffers from heavily. We need brand new, unique models.

Kaz said him and his team suffered from Japan making them add all those cars in the game from past, but. I know where Simon is getting at, no need for another G.T.-R. X_x Please no...

I didn't really write that good, but here.

One frequent criticism of many GT games – including GT5 – is the large number of Japanese cars with slight variations in trim (the various GT-Rs, Mitsubishi Evos, Miatas, etc. all come to mind). This is one of the first interviews which Kazunori has acknowledged the criticism, saying “…it’s true that there is a lot of variations depending on the model, and that’s probably because we’ve been affected strongly by the automotive culture in Japan from the 1990′s. [...] Back then there was meaning to each of the fine differences, and the selection of which model variation to drive was important to a user. Looking at it now I also think that there’s too many.”

A few "variety" car packs can fix that.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I always LOVED to have various versions of the same car. Of course, when those details/specs are accurately made and in a way that this doesn't affect the selection of other cars.

They can keep the 50 skylines, as soon as we have variety on other cars too. I wouldn't care to have 10 premium Miatas. Just give me more BMWs, more RUFs, etc to keep it balanced.

Here's a good concept that PD should employ: "For every Forza lover there is a wish list of cars they want to see added to the game and, every month, we deliver a little something for everyone."

Right from here.

It would be nice to experience this with GT5.

What you're seeing is a developer that started out small, followed the footsteps of Gran Turismo, grew, expanded, learned, and now deliver great DLC cars on a consistent basis.

What we see is from GT is a very small, proud group of Japanese individuals who paved the way for console sims, grew slightly, learned some, dropped the ball, and delivered DLC 3 times on a somewhat consistent basis and since January, have not released another DLC package.

As a sole owner of a PS3, I 'root' for PD to be successful and to expand and to shuffle out more content, but hats off to Turn10. They have created a great car list. It is incredible.

I don´t want DLC. Well actually one more only but with old tracks, remade ones. (i don´t want to see remade or the same old re-textured tracks in HD again in a GT game, just let that for GT5)
Don´t care about cars at this moment but if PD want to upgrade some standards that would be very welcome of course. (no new cars for this game, just upgrades)

Gran Turismo 6 should be the game with all the NEW things (tracks as SPA, Nurbürgring, Race X should be the norm not more remakes, i will insist in this!, and the cars being premium, don´t care if we see less cars -at least less repetitive ones-) and to become a totally new game not a GT5 "renewed" game with GT4 assets (because of the standards cars and remade tracks...PD should never do that again)

You sir, made one of the best comments I've ever read on GTP regarding PD & Turn10. And it's exactly my feelings too.

Thanks for sharing such clever and polite approach to this "complicated" issue.

Yh but , no company stops because of success or says " thats enough money thx, we dont need any more", surely a cracking DLC pack that everyone wants ( i.e. no more GTR's skylines ) like a decent track pack would actually make them a tidy profit, basically what iam saying is i dont understand why they arent milking it like most people actually want them too.

Just gonna leave this here

Been using BING (crappy search engine!) and earned enough points to buy the porsche pack, so in a sense it was free!

Being a huge GT fan, I got tired of PD and Sony f'ing with me. I bought an x360 JUST for this game and I'm fricken stoked! My ps3 has a vertex2 SSD and it is still slow as balls compared to the x360. I sometimes think about selling it because I have one in the living room as a BR player.

Seriously if you can get over the fact that you THINK this game feels "too arcady", and hate M$. Get this game! You won't regret it, I haven't looked back since I bought FM4 and a 4gb x360 back in Oct for $175 new.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having BOTH consoles and games, TRUST me once you make that leap you're gonna wonder why you stayed playing an ancient game that only sees new content in the form of seasonal events that lacks total substance.

I got the hint long ago (right after GT5 came out :yuck:) that PD and the GT series will never be what it could have been, so I jumped!
