Sick with no new DLC cars.....

Don't give a crap about Porsche, new cars, or new tracks unless there is something to actually do with them besides horribly uninspired, boring, and repetitive online seasonal or hugely flawed online multiplayer. Give me new DLC cars and tracks and I'll buy them all, but only if there's an update that expands the A-Spec part of the game.

I've bought all the DLC so far, but unless they update and expand off-line A-Spec with stuff I can use all the new DLC with, I'm not buying any more DLC. It's all a waste, like much of GT5.

I completely dismiss TC cars pack as brand new cars because they constitute only racing modification version of already existed cars. The same goes with Nascar (only new livery).

How many cars (and how diversified) through DLC have owners of Forza 4 received?

So who is listening to their fans? PD or Turn10? Who is giving real value for money?

I want PD to catch up with their competition (Turn10) because we'll only benefit from that.
Gran Turismo was outrun by Forza on this generation of consoles.

I don't fancy buying xbox 360 for one or two games and spending money on another wheel (because DFGT is incompatible with Xbox) but if GT6 is not to release on PS3 or we don't get any interesting DLC for GT5, I will probably go for Xbox360...

Simple. I tried it & didn't like the physics. I also only use a wheel & my DF Pro isn't compatible.

Yes, Forza has "PREMIUM" Lotus Carlton, Ford rs200 and Jaguar E-type. It hasn't got Jaguar XJ13 but we can find there lots of classic racing cars manufactured by for example Aston Martin and Ferrari.

Why should anyone defend GT5's DLC? Of course T10 did a better job with DLC, UNLIKE PD. What company would stop making DLC for their game when the rest sold well... That's honestly ridiculous. What, DO WE NEED TO..... I'll keep that to myself... :\

The part I bolded. Why must you have no desire to play Forza to be considered a "true" GT fan? You don't need to stick to one series no matter what to be a "true fan", whatever that is. That term is so subjective.

As someone else pointed out, yes it does and in MUCH better detail. Except the XJ13. But my point is, GT seems more focused on newer cars, I'm not saying that's a entirely bad thing, I just think they could do with more classics like the ones I listed. I'm sure I can think of at least 50 classics that should be in GT. That's my opinion anyway!

I'm sure i'm not alone on this either.

For me the biggest area of frustration is all these fake TC or race mod cars, instead of giving us real modern GT cars (the standard model selection is hugely out of date). I assume that's down to licensing, but given how much Playstation sponsorship there is for stuff like the VLN series and Nurburgring 24 hours, it seems crazy that we can experience almost none of those car models on GT5's very impressive track models.

the fact that Forza utilises their ALMS tie-in effectively and has given us most of the prototype and GT field is just rubbing things in

Still, I own both consoles, both sims, a multi platform wheel. So I can enjoy the good things about GT5 and Forza 4. Why choose when you can have both?


P.s. I am currently enjoying the various Porsches and of course the C63 Black from this month's Forza DLC... Great fun

LOL real value for the money? Nissan GTR Black edition? You must be blind! Also every DLC pack that has come out has come with a race car, legit Le Mans race cars too (Audi R18??) and vintage race cars. Not a GTR shultze edition.. gimme a break

And this weekend FM4 owners will be getting a free Viper GTS dlc, of course PD isn't going to add that car, its an American car, they will put in a GTR purple mask or a GTR kaz edition.

I really feel sorry for those stuck with GT5 and haven't had an experience (open minded) with FM4. You guys are missing out on soooo many better choices and customizations!

He and you agreed that GT5 DLC is beyond weak, and in my opinion, is an over all reflection of the state of Gran Turismo.

T10's DLC's damn near cover everything, THANK GOD they didn't crap on us with more Japanese cars!
And PD's certainly is WEAK, I feel sorry for the blind faithful, PD is working on a GT PSP 2.0 for vita, and back to the usual shenanigans with GT6, which by then will be released 4 years after PS4 comes out.

Many just don't want to work or see outside of the box or rather their protective bubbles. When something treads on their scope of reality it's better to ignore it, instead of learn from it and adapt, doesn't make sense to me either.

Really, I'm going to have my first time this upcoming week on an airplane, and am not stepping out of my bubble to do it. It's just something I have to do.

That analogy just doesn't fit, a better one would be trying to convince a republican to vote democrat or vice versa. That is the issue here with GT only or FM only fans, better choices may be on the table or things that they want or agree with are being given. The issue is they're being given by a product/system they aren't loyal to.

But I dissagree it doesn't fit, you might look at your first ever flight in this calm and unconcerned way, thats ok. But manys would see things different, imagine someone neurotic for example, and what he would go through before the flight. He then would very well have to step out of his bubble.

My opinion on the subject: I know this is 2012 and all that, but as someone said before, some of us have played GT4 for over 4 years without any DLC. I don't get how someone could be "sick" with the fact there's no new DLC cars...

If you talked about other issues about the game, maybe I would understand. But I'm fine with the cars present in the game.

(If you ask me, showing people the cars they are missing for not purchasing DLC is a little cruel. That would be a complaint I would agree with.)
