Turnaround race?

Ooooooh, I do like that little 507, but do I want weedy horsepower, or mighty horsepower? Weedy or mighty, weedy or..... **** this, who am I trying to kid, it's the Z8 for me please. And I think the Z8s should all be on comfort soft, to even things up a bit, to be honest. Only a suggestion, mind :)

Cheers, Zo.

I don't know, the point is to get as much oncoming traffic as possible and not even things up. If we take grip away from the Z8 drivers they won't disappear into the
distance as quickly. My vision is that the three classes of cars get spread out and by mid-race there will be a constant flow of traffic.
Maybe we need to double the race distance for next time to get extra much traffic.
Do you agree, Wheeler?

507 for me.
507 for me please.
Added.

Or give the lesser BHP cars lesser tyres as well.

I agree that the 3 class system works great with the Turnaround races. The separation between classes assures instant traffic from the first turnaround through to the end of the race.

Adding more "laps" is a natural progression to an enduro type race on an open country road with two-way traffic. What could be more real than that?

I think we have to change our turnaround spots at Nurb with longer races. We can't use the 1st turnaround "area" at the end of lap 1 for the 2nd turnaround at the end of the backwards lap. That works for a 3 stage race as the 2nd turnaround goes past the finish line to officially start the last leg of the race.

A 5 stage or even 7 stage race would be interesting.

I am so confused about all GT6 activity recently
I do know what you mean.

Think of Sierra with all those various pit areas along the track! Could be used for turning points maybe?

If nothing else it would require a very high level of concentration. :) Sounds interesting.

👍
The colour of my car is not bad either! :D
I thought you would have gone with Vader black.
I will use the 507 with Comfort Softs
I will still set the room for Sports Medium tyres this time. 👍

We can experiment going with different compounds in the varying classes when we do the next turnaround race.
Perhaps at Sierra?

I have a question though...
Are we sure the game will allow enough time for the much slower 507s to finish the race?
If a test has to be run, I happily volunteer. Setting different tire compounds might help a bit if there is a need for the cars to be closer to each other.

Guys, you should totally vote for the tracks Macau Guia Circuit suggested by @Warte and Pau Street Circuit suggested by @bansheerider.
We might make a difference. :)

Good to know:

Thanks to @jammy21 (#57) I learned that you can hold a qualifying session in the game and not properly finish it.
The driver who goes the farthest distance will get pole position and the others according to distance travelled.
This means we can do a five-minute qualifying run and not have to drive the entire lap and get a good deserving grid decided that way
instead of randomly getting a grid spot from practice. I'm interested in trying this.

*
Weather at Race Start 0 (%)
Time 05:30
Time Progression 37 Time (s)
Weather Changeability 0 Time (s)
Surface Water at Race Start 0 (%)

I think I found a perfect time progression number enabling the race to be started at sunrise and end just as dusk comes around.
It shouldn't become total darkness before we all manage to finish the race.

It's my aim in life to get everyone to appreciate comfort tyres. I'm not doing very well yet
We could do a CS Z8 race some time soon. 👍
Are we sure the game will allow enough time for the much slower 507s to finish the race?
I set the race finish delay to three minutes. Hopefully that will be enough but yes we could try it once if you'd like. 👍 thanks gamer

Edit:

I have changed my car choice from the Z8 to the 507.

@gkgamer and I did some tests yesterday and found the 507 to be just a tad bit too slow over the three-lap race distance,
so we have altered the PP-settings for that car.

The drivers can now put an extra 25 PP on the 507 (raising it to 387), while the Z4 and Z8 are still set to their stock PP numbers.
420 and 485 respectively. All three cars on sports medium.

I was in the Z8 and gamer in the 507;
