Wall stadium; huh?? You by any chance know of a guy by the name of Dave Gould?? Not sure what class he ran up there, but do know he used to run the outlaw stocks down at Bridgeport...... Also; isn't Wall Stadium where the Truex brothers got their starts??
No, I race quarter midgets on the small 1/20th of a mile oval next to the speedway pits. And yes, that is where the Truexs' got there racing career started 👍

I will open up the room for pre-race practice probably a touch after 9:00 pm est. I'll probably be away from the room and my mic until around 9:40. Will post room number ID on the thread.

Room is up. ID 1472-6118-3658-4755-7646

As the post says 1 out lap and 2 laps for qualifying, I find it will be easiest to set to qualifying alone and 7 minutes. That will give everyone 3 laps to put in a time.

I'll be AFC (away from controller since I don't have a keyboard for my PS3 ) until about 9:40ish or so. Feel free to put in some practice laps until 10. 👍

Even though I do not have a car to participate in this race, is there an option to at least pop in and view the action on track??

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Frozen :mad::mad::irked:🤬:banghead:
And I qualified on the pole :grumpy:

Where I made up the most time each lap was going through that downhill section after Skyline as fast as I could

10th lap.
I'll check it out for sure. 👍

I was actually losing most of my time in the technical section, especially the uphill part. I could run pretty fast on the long straights and turns at the bottom of the track. Odd for me, since I usually run better on more difficult tracks. I can fly around the Nurburgring, but I'm still struggling with Bathurst.

Because there's so much understeer, I just brake and turn in early. Flooring it anywhere around any apex usually meant a good exit.

I made up the most time in corners 4, 5, and 6 at the top of the hill. Was inches away to squeeze as much momentum out of it as possible.

Yeah, that'll shred your tires though. Great track for strategy. I really enjoyed the race. Bionic ran away with the race after gr8racrs got yanked off track by God though.

Hell of a battle for 2nd through 7th though:tup:

Dat last lap between us...:dopey:

The race was great...for most of us. gr8racrs put down an insane qualifying lap, but Bionic ripped us all a new one in the race itself. There was great battling, especially in the first half of the race from spots about 2-7. Then the field spread out a little bit after that. Closing in between 10 and 5 to go, Hector, mic, and I started to close up to each other for 2nd as we worked through the traffic (tz and scorpion had a good battle going 1 lap down) before Hector just pulled away from mic and me. I closed up on mic and we had an awesome race at the end, with us side by side on the final lap on the long straight at the end before I went off at the right hand bend near the end of the straight. I was on the outside, and there may have been a bump (neither of us were about to give in for that last podium spot :sly:), but it's hard to say. It's all good, though. Can't wait to watch the replay of that final lap. It was exciting! :dopey: For the rest, I think most of the drivers were fairly spread out near the end. Severn said he didn't see a soul the second half of the race. He may or may not have been bored.

Also, there were a couple of either GT6 freezes or disconnects. lightning and gr8racrs. I'm pretty sure everyone else stayed connected, which is pretty good for an endurance race. I know Euclid parked it fairly early in the race. So of the 13 starters (it was a good turnout, Psycho even showed up!), 10 of us were running at the end.

Argh! tzracer technically posted a time before the end of the race, but the replay ends just before he crosses the line, so I can't get his time behind the leader. I didn't think to write down the finishing results directly after the race where it shows the final rundown. I could have had his exact time behind had I done that. :banghead: Did anyone else happen to write down exactly how many seconds he was behind the leader?

I saw 2:59.8XX. Maybe .852?

Also, I apparently forgot to save the replay so if someone could put it in a zip file and send it to me, that'd be nice. :P

Yea I was so angry when it froze... I really wanted to rip my wheel off the Playseat and throw it against the wall  I was even closing down on Dolph, Mic, and Hector :grumpy:

That sounds like a good time to me, so we'll go with that. I doubt he'll care exactly how many seconds back he was, just that he DID put up an official time.

And unfortunately I don't have a spare USB sitting around, so I can't help with sending you the replay. Sorry. :(
