Well I was going to say can we do cautions if someone crashes? Or maybe a competition caution at maybe lap 50 or so?

Wow... An entire week of convo I didn't realize I was missing here... Now I'm doubly kicking myself that I have to miss this week (again... Seems like I'll be juggling between Enduro and Flex), but as my wife will be gone tomorrow night, we're going to go out for some Irish music... Which always seems to be about being sad that there's a place you can never seem to go back to... Which seems fitting:lol:

I thought about it. But I thought for an oval, a nice round number of laps would look nicer. As for the future enduros (not on an oval), I definitely plan to use the 90 minute setting.

It stinks you pretty much have to miss one or the other. :( Enduro is nice, but FLEX needs some love too. :lol: I'll likely be missing tomorrow's race myself. That'll be two weeks in a row I miss the Enduro Series race. :irked:

How much longer do you think it will be? We've only got 5 guys in the room right now. We'll probably wait until 15 or so after to see if anyone else shows.
 
We may end up doing short sprint races. You might be able to join later and still run with us. Not sure how many people are up for an enduro.

As we rev up for the the weekend, we will take the Rocket around the legendary Monaco circuit prior to the Formula 1 running of the Monaco Grand Prix. Since I plan to use the newly implemented endurance setting this week, there will not be a set number of laps. We'll see how well PD has used their time developing it. :nervous: And of course, if you didn't already know, the Rocket will be run again in the Enduro Series two weeks later. This should be a fun preview of what's to come then. :dopey:

I guess we could. I'm not sure how the car handles on sports tires yet. We could run the first race on racing hards, then sports softs and sports mediums in races 2 and 3. The only time we've run the car was in week 2 on racing mediums. I can try to do some testing on sports mediums to see how they feel. Micantony said that the car is great on the sports softs. That's why I had picked them. Anyway, I updated the post, but with question marks cause I don't know what tires we're going to race with yet.

A WRS TT was the Rocket at Monaco. It has grip, but really understeers if you push it too hard on the softs.

Turtle Racing League - Race Night Recap​

After great BMW racing the week before, the Turtles took to Apricot Hill to race the Porsche imitating RUF’s. There was a smaller turnout for the evening, so the races were cut to half distance. Even so, the cars proved to be a handful as the tires wore very quickly.

Race 1 involved the extremely oversteery BTR. BionicDerp did the best to tame the beast and came out with the win. RacingOtaku86 was not far behind in 2nd, while DolphDrago, who took pole, rounded out the top 3. Bombonito followed Dolph closely for 4th, with euclid58 some 45 seconds behind the leader at the end in 5th position. Diggs392 rounded out the field in 6th. He has shown improvement in recent weeks and did a great job to finish the race before the time expired.

The Turtles then took on the very fast, but very understeery CTR2 for race 2. Bombonito would manage his front tires the best of the bunch and came out on top. Racing once again finished in 2nd position, taking silver. Bionic finished a couple of seconds behind in the final podium spot. Euclid came home 4th while Diggs never gave up and ended up 5th. Dolph got disconnected part way through the race while battling with Racing for 2nd, and took home a DNF in 6th as a result. BusDriverTrev made his Turtle debut...however in the wrong car. :P His DNF left him in 7th place.

Lastly, was the much better handling RGT for race 3. Dolph laid down the fastest lap and was able to pull away from the field, taking home the victory. Bombonito and Bionic had a battle for 2nd, as Bombonito would take the spot with Bionic settling for 3rd. Euclid brought home another 4th place finish, while Racing struggled in the final race and finished 5th. Trev, in the correct car this time, ended up 6th. Diggs would round out the field in 7th position.

Crikey! There was a tie for 1st place overall for the evening, as both Bionic and Bombonito finished with 88 points. Bombonito would take the overall victory and taste the champagne, as he had the faster lap in 2 of the 3 races run compared to Bionic. Racing was not far behind, finishing 3rd overall. If not for the disconnect, it’s hard to say where Dolph would have ended up. Instead, he was forced to settle with 4th, trailing Racing by a mere point. Euclid used his consistency to finish in the top 5 overall, and Diggs finished every race within the time limit to end up 6th. Trev would round out the field in 7th in his maiden Turtle event.

The X2014 on CS tires is enough that I thought you'd be interested, haha. I have to head off for a funeral this evening, but at some point I have every intention of at least trying to see what that even feels like at Monaco.
