The S.N.A.I.L. DriveTrain Challenge (DTC) - Open to all



Welcome to the DriveTrain Challenge (DTC). We are a tuning prohibited event that requires all participants to use four different drivetrains and uses the Performance Point system in Gran Turismo as a limiter on the nights racing.

Tuesday Race Night
(Event will take place in a friends only room)

03/04/2014 at 10:00 PM EST/ 7:00 pm PST

This event will run with a combined PP of:
1860 (SS)
All cars PP must be between 442 and 490. Pick one car at each drivetrain layout and all four cars PP cannot exceed 1860pp.

The first two races will run with a combined PP of:
N/A

The second two races will run with a combined PP of:
N/A

Qualifying and the first race will take place at

Suzuka Full

The Drive Train Challenge is by far the nicest and funnier snail competition aside it's main event. Personally I think it was an awesome idea and I bow to Joby for the concept and Joe for keeping it alive despite periods that barely anyone would show up.
For me, participating is a 100% fun quest as I recognized long ago that I'm slower than most of the field and not the smartest in car choices so it's really all about the fun but the fun can easily disappear if I constantly get runned over by people that have legitimate chances to win and this is where I want to point out. In the last two or three events I was thrown out of track by impatient people that wants to reach the front asap. This has to stop... for fun sake.

I would have used the NSX combo if the tracks were larger and the Lutecia combo if the tracks were tighter....because "prepared" this week. Then the wife sprung a disney trip on me.

You must be PSN friends with GTP_racefan78 and Koszak27 to enter the room. Do not wait until 10pm to send out the request as both parties must be in the XMB menu for it to work properly.
