Just a taste of my next project in Assetto Corsa.

Showroom_bmw_m3_e30_dtm_11-3-2014-20-41-45.png

Quick question, is the first group (lower) on Soft or Hard tires? I wasn't sure if this was based on the group PP or the total PP.

I would love for that car to be in GT! One of my all time favorite cars.

We definitely need the E30 in GT6, hopefully we won't have to wait till GT7 or later. Also I've realized that I posted this in the wrong thread. I originally intended on posting in the main S.N.A.I.L. thread. :banghead:

So Beal, now you have to race tonight.

Surprised a car as iconic as that from a main dealer in GT for so many years has not made it into the game. The can put stupid crap in there like Kubelwagon but not the M3 that started it all?

basically I blame greed. Someone either wants a lot of money for the car or someone owns the rights. Or maybe BMW does not want us to drive it because it would make all there new cars seem heavy and %$#$ by comparison.

I hope you're not trying to knock the Kubelwagon. That's my damn ride.

Good racing boys. Two new guys really showed up.
Looks like it. One quick question for the results. Dan is showing as not finishing the last race. Where did he end up? No one is listed for 6th was there his place?

Congrats to @bloodredsky for just getting the win over Kendawg. It went to a tie break with Blood edging out Ken by virtue of the second place he got in the NSX! Well done. You get to pick the overall PP for next week along with the option to Split the PP into two groups. I hope you had fun. @kendawg you get Qualifying track choice

And Lets let @carboneyes choose a new track to add. You can replace any track in this list that is not blue with the track of your choice (no dirt or snow please).

Eligible Tracks
Spa Francorchamps
Indy Road Course
Deep Forest Raceway
Willow Springs - Big Willow
Silverstone - Grand Prix Circuit
Trial Mountain
Tsukuba
Circuit de la Sarthe 2013 (With Chicanes) (Chosen by @racefan78 )

@bloodredsky and @carboneyes showcased their skills last night. Carbon and I had a great battle at Cape Ring and they were both very consistent in all the races. They used their car choices to their advantage in that last race at La Sarthe and were doing 30mph more than anyone else on the straight.

Not a good night for me. The poor little Peugeot 206 really struggled to keep up with Ken's Alfa 146 but it's top speed is just no good but the real disapointment was the Toyota MR on the 1st race. After taking 2nd place in quali, it decided to hate that first tight up hill chicane where it spun' twice! But then came the cherry on top racing in Motegi with a car with less 22pp I thought it had. The Mine's did good... but i forgot to change it's oil!!!
Lol, Next week. I'll be back :D

Good times. Before I pick the PP, is there any way I could get a historical recap of what PP's you have covered lately ? I just don't want to end up picking the same regulations that you have already done. Even just the last 3 or 4 weeks.

I believe these are the last choices made. I like the total PP to be between 1400-2000 PP and remember we run sports tires only so it can get a bit slippery if a splits PP goes over 1100:)

1860 no split
1540 (700/840)
1640 no split
1850 (1040/810)
2000 (850/1150)

3/11/14 - 750pp/1150pp (1900pp)

3/4/14 - 1860pp

2/18/14 - 1640pp

2/11/14 - 1040pp/810pp (1850pp)

1/28/14 - 850pp/1150pp (2000pp)

1/21/14 - 2000pp

I hear ya. Last night was just an off night for me. I think I had a good line up but I couldn't keep it on the track. That nsx was great and I know I could have done way better with it if I had time to practice with beforehand. But I did learn how to drive it on the 6th lap around! The Mines BNR was a great car too. Oversteery but very predictable and fun to drive. I hope to be able use this combination again and do a bit better. Overall good race last night!

I love all the aspects that you have to pull together for this series. You need to make good car choices up front. You then need to choose the right tracks to run them. And finally you have to drive them well. It is not always the easiest idea to get your head around but I do believe it is a very unique idea. And gradually you know which cars to use but you can always look for that one car no one has used that will give you an advantage.

I just took a quick look through the past results from the spreadsheet (not complete) and found that we have used 383 unique cars in a little over 1 year. I think that is pretty awesome! And here is the rather long list:

I'm thinking about 850pp 830pp/1075pp (1925 1905pp) .... BUT - it's only 25pp difference than last weeks pp (but on a side note, the pp ranges are pretty different)

Is that OK guys ? Let me know.

Edit- 830/1075=1905 FINAL ANSWER.

And yes smaller pp first.

Last edited:
That sounds great since the split PP's are so different! I assume you want the 850 to go first?

Sorry for double post, but question real quick - What's the deal with RR? Can i swap MR or FR for a RUF RGT for example ? Or is there just straight no love for RR ? And ps i know there's only 23 RR's so they don't really come into play anyways..but I just wondered, anyways thanks.

And a total repost on my pp changes if ya didn't see

830/1075=1905

830 first.

MR/RR are treated as one drivetrain. So you can run FF/FR/4WD/MR or FF/FR/4WD/RR the choice is yours.

And I love the RGT use it any chance I get.
