Oh I didn't save the 2nd race, at Trial Mountain. Ken can you take a photo of the moment when me and you split two guys, after the left hander hairpin, right before the chicane ? That was a good one, for sure. I thought the Mazda roadsters we were in were doomed, mostly because of the low pp number.

Yeah I'm with JobyOne. I'd kinda like to stick to some loose rules like in the old days :)

I almost want to go back to track groupings. But maybe add a couple to each group.

Kendawg getting the close win over blood at Fuji

Koszak leading blood, cmbeal, Unleashed and Kendawg through the mountains of Trial Mountain

Blood and Kendawg getting the run and splitting Unleashed and cmbeal. This was some very good driving by all especially cmbeal and Unleashed. No one touched, spun or lost control. Very nice guys!!!

It wasn't for the win but for 3rd place on the podium. This time blood edges out Kendawg.

I would have to agree with you Joe. We have had ideas and gave some of them a chance. Some worked good some not. I would like to see the groups back but 5 tracks per group. I think (and this is just my opionion) the the groups should be seperate by catagories.

Group A - Origianal courses
Group B - World courses
Group C - City courses.

Group A - Origianal courses

Quoted to preserve the greatness.

I'm more on the fence with the track groups. I liked the organization of it and that later in the night you could kind of guess where you would be running. I don't mind how it is now though as long as we have a set list and it isn't out of the blue.

Dreaded T1 at Daytona

Time for a move

Wrong way buddy

That's so damn literal !

Carbon and Koszak had an epic battle for most of the race

Tez got a little wide and mayhem followed..

And getting run over by the rest of the field (me included)

Ice Warden trying for a drift (joking)

LOOOL... That's a funny comment on pic 4! "Wrong way buddy"... Well, When someone breaks and starts cornering his car and suddenly gets pounded from behind by some Opel Calibra, the chances of his car turn the wrong way while sliding into the grass is huge:irked:... Anyways, definitely a funny cynical joke :yuck:

Nice pics blood. Try bumping up your "F" value on the camera settings to reduce the blur on everything not centered in the pics.

My takeout of @racefan78 documented. I still feel bad it happened. :(

In this pp range, things get a lot easier for me. My next set up is basicaly done. I just need to run a 3 FR cars comparition test to find the best overall one.
Oh, I finally found 2 true amazing easy driving low pp MR cars.

^ Let me guess Schmiggz, RUF 3400S?

Got my cars picked and ready to test on Tues night ;)

I do want to comment on how we race here, because apparently we have added a new component to our mixture of drivers who happens to have some history with one of our current drivers.

We have always been a good group of respectful racers here. We concentrate on maximum fun with maximum racecraft. This is not a public room. We run a private league night and we'd like to keep previous vendettas outside of our room.

We also go by the GTP OLR. If, by coming into contact with another driver, you cause that driver to lose control or lose a position, you must slow down and allow that driver to regain control and continue on without gaining position on that driver until he has a chance to fully recover. So keep your space and keep your patience. If you are stuck behind another driver on a track that is difficult to pass, you must hold your horses until you can make a clean pass.

While I am happy to have to have some new drivers on board, I do not want them to alienate our current drivers. So let's keep it clean and respectful.

Posting pics of an incident that you caused and making a comment like "Wrong way buddy" is just stirring the pot.

So let's try and be cool next week. We like clean, fast and fun. With an emphasis on respect for your fellow drivers.

At SNAIL we do have a review process where we penalize points for incidents on track. We have NEVER had to use it as potential problems always sorted themselves out. I'd hate to have to start using it as it just sucks the fun right out of everything.

I'm very interested in this event. I do many endurance races and I wanted to maybe get involved. I have a few friends who are in the snail league and I've heard nothing but good news. If someone could help me get started itwould be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
First off, welcome. Our next race is Tuesday 3/25 at 10pm EDST/7pm PDST and it will take place in a private room. All you need to do before Tuesday is pick four cars to race, one from each drivetrain: FF, FR, 4WD, MR/RR. The total performance points for your cars cannot exceed 1950. Each car must be between 463pp and 512pp. Please note that the performance point totals we go by are after the 5% oil change boost after purchase. No, no, no Koszak... The Ruf has been one of my favourites since ever and I used it not too long ago at special stage 5 What I mean is the TommyKaira ZZ S and the Supersport Elise.

I have a feeling we will see a lot of duplicate cars this week ;) I already had 3 of your cars on my list ;)
Ok so you have my line-up minus the M3 since I know you love the DC5 RM, Apex MR-S and the Escort.

Roger that Sgt. Schmiggz. I distinctly remember you beating me at SSR5 in the RUF, hence why I guessed it.

I have two possible scenarios depending on how It goes Tues when I start practicing at Tokyo. Both scenarios will include the Escort Rally.

Scenario 1:
FF: Trial Celica
MR: MR-S
FR: S2000 LM

Scenario 2:
FF: Integra RM
MR: Lutecia Trophy
FR: Super Leggera

So, we'll see how it goes. Might try to weasel the HSC in there since it's a cheater car...but only wussies run that car :)

Yeah there's going to be like three HSC's in every race, I should imagine(same goes for integra touring). Hey Joe did you get someone to pick a new track for this week, or still the same choices as last week ?

The random winner who gets to choose a new track for the eligible list is

@88GTA

The tracks in Blue are safe and can not be swapped. All the others are fair game.
