Wow, you guys are all awesome in my book, thanks for all the advice! Ok, I am definitely in for next week and I'll get as much practice in as I can.

Thank you for offering me to choose a new track, and I don't want to seem ungrateful by declining, but who usually gets to choose? I don't want to take it away from someone if they already won the right to choose.

The choice of new track goes to someone who raced and didn't get a chance to choose anything else for next week. It's Joby's way of giving input to more of the guys that are racing.

Thanks for clarifying that, I will choose a track shortly.

Edit: I would like to replace Ascari with Mount Panorama if possible. As far as I know it works fine online now, I've raced it a handful of times in the past couple weeks without any issue. It's harder for me to pick a track to remove, lol, and I figure Ascari is also a longer track like Bathurst.

Last night really showcased how different cars are suited to different tracks.

Nic pulls out a 6 sec lead in the car with the lowest PP on the track. His car was 551pp and he just killed it (until he made a couple of mistakes and his tires went south). I was in a car with 46pp more than his and he just walked away. He gave me the win in the last couple of minutes but the race was his to lose.

Choose your cars wisely and drive consistently and you shall be rewarded.
Yes, the car was well suited for the track size.I spun when my rear outside wheel climbed over the rumble strip under braking.:banghead:

Lineup chosen already :)

Can't put it in the spreadsheet yet though...
Is that a hint that you want something from me?

Signup updated. Since some idiot chose an odd number for the PP make sure you check the signup sheet for the upper and lower PP range. I will update the OP later

I have tuesday off this week so i have done my testing and will make my way to the starting grid. My line up is tested and is posted in the sign up sheet.

So far in gt6 we have used about 100 cars. To encourage variety I would like to try something. If you run a car that has not been used on a DTC night in gt6 you get +1 points for the night. I have added a column to the sorted pp list that shows how many times the car has been run. if it says 0 it is eligible for +1 for the night.

If you do not like the idea let me know.

I don't like it and here is why. There are so many variations of some cars. Are you going to award points for someone using a different model of the same car that has already been used? I'm speaking of the plethora of S2000, NSX, Integra, Civic, Miata/mx5/. Those are the examples with many variations. There are others with fewer almost duplicates like the FR-S, BRZ, and whatever the other one is called. If you went as far as excluding the entire model once it's been used from getting points, then you might be on to something. I don't know how much work that would be but giving points away for picking a slightly different model from what has already been run doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

I like the desire to encourage the use of different cars but I think that idea needs to be refined a little before it's rolled out and changing results. We already know how important one point can be, four could be huge.

Valid points. I totally agree about true duplicate cars. That is easy for me to fix. I also think that limiting to one point a night makes since or perhaps that it can not move you to the top two spots. So the top two finishers must be straight up no Bonus.

I have a line up for this week but the google sheet isn't opening for me. It was like that all day yesterday and now today as well.

It was acting up for me yesterday also. I was just able to get in.

Since I was able to get in I took a guess at your lineup for you. I think it might be hard for you to keep up with @Kgffy but think of it as a challenge.
