This track is tough with these big heavy cars and no downforce. Its hard to tell if a tune is working because you only have about 2 laps to nail a clean error free run. After that the lap times will drop off dramatically and every lap after about lap 4 feels like I'm guessing the turn in speeds the front tires will hold.
Tex and I were discussing whether downforce was helping. I set my fastest lap with it maxed out, but the understeer it introduces in some corners causes the front tires to wear faster. Minimum downforce offers even tire wear and feels more consistent lap after lap, but overall it was slower for me. So I'm torn between a tune that seems more consistent and a tune that will hammer some fast qualifying laps.

Few people showed up and it fell apart pretty quick. Monaco is such a tight track and there arent many passing opprtunities unless you have a monster run on someone but even still you may get stuck side by side in a tight spot on track. It is going to be a very difficult race and there is going to be unavoidable rubbing and bumping. We will just have to do our best to be good to each other out there.

Verdict: GTSport is awesome! I cant wait for this game. Like many have said, it feels more like gt6+ then a whole new game but in my book thats a good thing. Super easy on a controller so it will be accessible and it is gorgeous. I may not get much practice time for gt1 now cause i'll be hooked on sport for sure.

SNAIL is a clean racing club. you just got run over, the people who did it were pulling over to concede knowing that it had happened. When you stormed off. Which is a bigger penalty then the rough up you got on the first lap of one of the tightest tracks in the entire game.

Hello Ben, sorry, I self-reported an IR. Always feel free to go through the video of the races and report incidents. I knew Monaco was going to cause problems, but I was hoping to stay out of them. We do try to keep it clean but it's still racing, so there's going to be some contact. Thor used me as his e-brake at St. Devote late in the race when he was trying to catch me and his tires were going off, but he didn't pass me.
Hope you'll give it another try at a more reasonable venue.

I use a controller so it is mandatory that i can drive coherently with one. That is THE factor that my pcars disc collects dust and doesnt get used. I would love a wheel but getting ready to throw a bunch of $$ at my car to get ready for my first scca solo season so ill be a controller guy for the near future.

If you encounter a bad driver on the first lap, you encountered a bad driver. If you encounter bad drivers every lap of every race, well then, you're the bad driver.
I'm not saying that's the case here, but you gotta let the adrenaline settle and run your race before you start passing judgment on those around you. 50 minutes is a long time to make good on a few seconds lost to some minor contact.
