Obviously I have been "Out of the Loop" - but what Class of Cars will we be running next Season?
May not be able to participate, but would like to "stay tuned".

Looking back at the season stats, I had some missed opportunities but for the most part managed to place the mustang close to my qualifying position. The first two races I really messed up pit strategy, but being my first endurance race in years, I suppose that was expected. I somehow got the Mustang to hook up at Tokyo for a better than qualifying finish but followed it up with 3 more races finishing exactly how I qualified. I'd be curious to see whether a better driver could have squeezed more time out of the Mustang. I'm not the best at tuning and I really had to overdrive the front tires to keep pace. Anyway, it was fun running mid pack, looking forward to next season!

Thank you.
Doubt that Dr will release me for driving soon enough. (Note: This Sternum pain is a lot more than I expected)
Am sure I will choose last, will watch the thread.

Hmm, will 5kg turn the Mustang into a contender? I don't know...but I'll run some laps to find out! Over 3,000 miles on her, I'd be sad to let her go.

She was a strong car out of the corners, biggest problem is the snailiens up front. no matter the turd they can muscle it out of anything!

If I was 3-4 seconds off pace, I'll admit probably 2 seconds of that was due to my lack of driving skill combined with lack of top notch tuning skill. The rest was all on the Mustang's pitiful straight line speed and skinny front tires that would burn up no matter what tune I set. You were right about power coming out of the corners though. I'd lay back a bit so I could use that corner exit speed to get right on someone's bumper, only to have them pull away while I was drafting them. Most of the passing I made had to be in braking zones with fresh tires.

We were all burning tires. The snaliens are generally .6 seconds faster than us mere mortals. Look at the rest of the field you were right there with us. Hell whitey didn't dominate the series this season but won by being there every week. The bop has been adjusted to try and keep up with the comaro not keep up with the snailiens. As they get to also pick new cars.
If I could get a few more fast people like schemed, phisher, and trick we would be going to a third division where the likes would lose 5hp off any car chosen.

I may just stick with the Mustang again. I'm hoping to have time tonight to try it out with the drop in weight and see where that puts me for lap times.

To help testing one of my track picks will be Big Willow. Still working on the second pick. I would advise testing all cars if possible.
Please look for interesting ways to do tracks. Time change adds a whole new dimension to every track

Agree but time change at big willow would be pretty brutal. Night is so dark its almost undriveable and when the sun is low its blinding. Would recommend keeping it simple there. Maybe we can do something interesting with pick 2.

Thank you Birdy, I am also passing on choosing a car. I'm most likely not going to be in this season. I will let JCH8r choose tracks.
