Yes for weather, Is it possible to control amounts of rain, %100 for a whole race would be alittle to much .

@paul_17 would have to test that, and tell us the at what setting he wants it to start at. I think it can be set to a maximum amount of rain until it starts to lightens up to clear then starts again but I'm not to sure.

It acts the same from what I heard but you could be right and it won't work the same

I think the way he did it (from what I heard) was he watched the weather channel for the track and tried to keep the racing at pace with the current weather condition by adjusting it in game on the fly. Which wouldn't work for GT1 as we are in the races.

However we will look into settings for the races 100% is not feasible to GT1 and would take the fun out of it :) I would think however up to 50% would still be interesting while being able to maintain control.
 
Does that open up intermediate and rain tires or are we bound to mediums and hards regardless of rain? I guess this does create some issues due to the tire compound rules.

You can set it to 25% with 0% change and it will be a cloudy/overcast race. Changes shadows and colors a bit and you can't see as far into the distance.
 
As much as I want to complain about the BoP for next season @Jakedog23 they are very tight it's all coming down to driver skill.

Also next week's race is being postponed until the week after as @Xradkins is going on a holiday. For everybody with in GT1 if you need us to skip a week due to anything let me know that is why I post the schedule (even without tracks to them)

We are a small group and I would rather skip a week here or there and have a good race then miss a guy and have him lose points because he's on va ca.

Now that being said if you are going to miss 2 weeks back to back for the same reason you are most certainly SoL :)
 
So being as I was at a concert yesterday :) (slipknot friggin rules) I forgot to note that the car list is now open to swaps.

If you want a different car feel free to post it and I will change it in post #5. @JCH8r will change it in the drivers list.

Glad BoP worked out. Hope the people in the back are at the front more to make things way more interesting.

It will be a season of being mistake free.

At rome tonight champ won holding off both rad and scorp... well until I took out rad lol

Not yet I really don't see the need but will do it anyways. So I'll do it tomorrow during nap time or on the week end lol. I hope everyone will come out for next week's testing so we can get more data.


Plus my camera's full of photos from both the concert and the aquarium with the kids today. So I have to dump those first me before I do data.
 
One thing that does need to be stated in case anyone hasn't been told is the standard wing on the Dodge Viper ACR is not legal for racing. You MUST HAVE a custom wing on it
 
why must the Dodge Viper ACR run a custom wing?
The rules do not specifically state that.
You do realize that changing the wing will negate some of the top speed in that car.
Also my 2500+ miles of tuning are now useless....

are you going to make the GTR change it's rear spoiler also?
 
Yes its should've been stated Flat Floor and Custom GT Style wing are manditoy. Sorry on my behalf if that was stated earlier.

And for the record it honestly the change is null to the car as I was already yelled at that for the same reason in the ACR


Again sorry for the confusion.
