Ive watched some of the replays from last night and im glad i wasnt playing a drinking game for out of bounds violations dear lord. On old tires it will be hard to stay on exiting corners but if you do cross over the line just lift for few seconds as penance to avoid penalty. If this becomes like last time at silverstone international where runoffs and corners are abused frequently i would suggest removing silverstone from the approved tracks list.

The last silverstone was different, people were using a run-off as an exit not just driving to hard and sliding wide. However yes it will be watched because time can be gained using the run off as the exit.

Just stay inbounds! idea but I do believe for the most part I was able to!

No one that went off in My mirror gained

Effectively immediately I am removing myself from the line up! , for now!
Factor's are as follows;
1) My job pay's
2) You Don't!
3) pay is a necessity (Bills' etc..)
4) I gave up getting on-line every night during the week to focus on and limit my time to Tuesday night and Wednesday Night's, (Friday doesn't count).
and though it helped, my paying job still has been affected.
5) This is by far the most decisive factor and I'm not pointing my finger at any one of you, but at all of you!
a) I'm allowed to think I'm fast and doing well during practice, while every one holds back, I can't and won't hold that against any one! great tactic 👍 but I'm ball's out all the time and that's only my fault :dunce:

Bottom line is I need to focus more on my job!
I really enjoy racing with you all but my bet is that you wont help me pay my bill's.

I'll be "BAACK"!

 Really enjoy racing with you all and have learned a lot from you all!

Understand, but ......... wish it was not so, Number One.
For my part, I'm not holding back during practices. Am running RH as a tactic, and as a measure against the RM on other cars.

Hate to see that you are "missing", but fully understand your Real World Priorities. Hope to see you ever so often.

My #36 will have a Black Hood for the rest of the season.

Since JCH8r and I are both running the GT-Rs in white, it seemed that such a difference would be helpful to other drivers.
Hope that is okay with everyone.

I got confused and ran the black hood too! I've switched my colors back to my green body white wheels combo.

Sorry to see Thor taking time off but we all go through those cycles. 'Tis life. Take care of you & yours first. Good man, good plan.

Sorry JC - didn't intend to cause more confusion.

6 laps and out of fuel, cruise into the pits on fumes. But, we must run a minimum of 7 laps on the harder tires. Interesting strategy twist here.

@Die_Birdy_Die
Will there be a Sarthe Modification to the Minimum Lap Requirement?

May I suggest a 5-lap requirement which would include the Out-lap and the In-lap? Otherwise we will need to run 1 full stint and a partial stint (or 2 full stints) to fulfill the 6-lap ontrack rule.

Of course maybe that is our "difficulty" to manage around. It could be said that it is found under the heading of Tactics and Strategy.

There is a 4 lap minimum stint for le sarthe, I already knew we would be able to do 7 laps

The GT-1 Practice Room is open - anyone want to play "Draft"?

Closed. See y'all tomorrow night.

May I suggest the following for tonight's practice?

2 - 15 min races & a 25 min race.
The 25 min would require a Pit Stop.

However, I always defer to your preeminent wisdom in the matter.

Perhaps - even require RH or RM change at the Pit Stop.
... I don't know if that really fits into a testing day. It's about seeing what and where your car handles the "races" are more for fun then for testing, unlike thursdays where it's the first real opportunity to see what the cars are, we in GT1 are just fine tuning our tunes, we know what we have (I have the back of the field successfully locked up:banghead:) also to figure out how much fuel you will need for say a run (usually 20 minutes) get what I mean?

Yes, Sir - and well said.
See you later.

3:00pm Central
GT-1 Practice Room open for testing.
