🤬 YouI really do think that hacking should be punished by solitary for life, but then again I mean for Jakedog's...not mine...I'm a vindictive....
...and we lost our log in Bonus
Edit: notice idiot with GTP flag above. Never end a conversation on a negative note.
I'm probably not suppose to ask out in the open public or i'll get scolded, sorry. Just curious since this is suppose to be a clean league.
Well this is one of the best intros I have ever heard.

I did too when I first heard it... 30 YEARS AGO ! lol
Rock on kid!
What I mean is if I were to make an error I have the ability to refocus and just turn consistent laps and better my average time than guys ahead that may (and do) push too hard later in the race and put themselves behind. I haven't been around very long, but I've put myself in that position several times already. Dead last by end of lap 1 and finish 3rd - 5th.
One thing I've noticed after years of racing rooms with damage set to heavy is that it most consistently affects the "dirty/careless" driver or one that's made a catastrophic mistake. Often the clean driver doesn't even know its set to heavy because they don't hit things. I find that setting to be the best to weed out the aggressive contact driver.
The problem is that the heavy damage setting does not discriminate between the clean and the careless driver so in the event of a collision the innocent party can be punished as much or even more severely as the "dirty/careless" driver who caused the problem in the first place .
I would say " thats racing" . there are times an innocent party gets collected in a wreck in all forms of racing. The IR process to me would be improved because if you sustain permanent damage you will be more inclined to file an IR so it doesn't happen again.
Yea but this is virtual racing not real life where you don't have the option to lessen the blow. Getting knocked out of a race because of an overaggressive driver or mistake is not fun, not fun at all. Isn't this suppose to be fun also?I would say " thats racing" . there are times an innocent party gets collected in a wreck in all forms of racing. Fixed it.

No, no, no User. "That's racing" would probably be OK if it happens once in a blue moon but the problem is that the kind of contact hard enough to ruin your race happens way too often, specially on turn 1 and going to the track covered in fear that someone is gonna blow your race again is more than enough to remove all the fun and make people leave because there's nothing an IR can do to bring your results or points back.
To me these are all great reasons for heavy damage .. The over aggressive ones will rage quit on occasion and some may quit permanently. What iI'm saying is you'll be left with purer racers who don't force contact in races. I race heavy damage rooms through the week. Its the same thing everytime good racers stay and the ones who cant drive proper leave. We end up with a great group of racers having super fun
I'm in!!You're absolutely correct actually. We'd be left with a group of super hardcore racers that want nothing short of the best recreation of racing that the game can simulate. The overall club membership would be 20 deep instead of nearly 200, with two divisions and zero competition aside from the "old" D1/2 guys. That's what I think would happen.
If more people went into these races thinking have fun rather then results and points. Most turn one and other incidents wouldn't happen.
ps3 still down I cant get back on . I shut it off turned it back on cant log on. All this money we spend and they cant stop stuff like this crazy
Since joining SNAIL, I've had also raced elsewhere. Mostly iRacing and rFactor. As well as getting into watching YouTube channels and live streams of people sim racing. From my observation, SNAIL is unique from almost all other clubs and events that I have watched and participated in. This being that SNAIL has a lot more "casuals" in the mix than others. Events that run as true to real life as possible, that run with damage, these in my experience draw in the more hardcore sim racers with at least a wheel, if not a rig. There certainly wouldn't be a person on their recliner with a controller in hand.Ok, I forget about lag. Yes lag can ruin a race, Damon lag.
Thanks USERID, you get it. I've been doing this online racing since 2006, and my main league has died down, thanks to GRID. I'm still on the B.O.D. I've hosted many a league race. I've always ran heavy damage, to teach people to slow down when side by side. I always run tire wear on very fast, definitely with short races. Most aggressive drivers don't have any tires left and have to make a pit stop.
Setting the race for 1 mandatory pit will help if someone gets lag damage, he still has a chance.
I would just think this clean simulation
league would be set up more simulated. You guys have been doing a great job of having a good league. I love 95%, it's just the other 5%.
I don't care for the IR's, because this is just a game. But maybe i'll have to consider using them.
Good racing as long as PSN is working.
