I also notice after going through the list and my GT5 colours, we have four dark greens. While I am flattered that my first choice is the most popular, I may change colours since I'm not a fan of having that many and Goat has raced more Sundays than I have.

I'm one of those with dark green, there is no one else in D1 with green i believe but i will change color if need be. Just let me know.

while my color is dark green, I often will use a green available in the dealership. I use Draco Verde and Malachit also, which aren't dark green but more muddy i guess. Tezgm99 it was your choice first so if you want dark green I will stay with the muddier greens. The dealership greens this week look great and I went with them. You know how cheap I am with the credits.

I read through the color list this time:) My colors will be white(ish) and blue wheels, I'll do light blue metallic. And by white(ish) I'll try to stick to the stock color, like this week it's Bright Pearl White, etc.

Number will be 42, until a more senior SNAIL comes up/down, or I go up/down. I'm not married to the number, but I like it!

No, don't worry about it, guys. Dark green seems to look good on most cars which is another reason why I went with it in the first place. It's time for a change for me and having four of similar colour gave me the perfect way to do so :)

Noted in the spreadsheet.

Question: does the RM Camaro hit the rev limiter in 5th at Laguna? I see Bob on the limiter as he's breaking the car (breaking, not breaking in!)
Is there a sixth in there or is this car chosen on this track by design? No tune, right?

I believe it has been stated that you will indeed hit the limiter slightly in the Camaro at Laguna, but it's not so bad that it's annoying. And you are correct... no tuning. See you in D3, Sunday! :)

Also, tuning IS allowed over in STaTS(season 2). Everyone should check it out.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

You will hit the limiter at the end of the front straight, but it's not terrible. The person who picked the car was made aware of it since Laguna was not their first choice of track. It could have been much worse.

Right, after scouring my paint chips and the S.N.A.I.L. list, I will swap my colour to 'Amaranth Pearl' (it should be different enough from 'Midnight Purple' judging from the hue which is already in use)...now to build up my supply of it

Route X?

Thankfully it won't matter on the run to the checkered flag since you won't hit the limiter by then. If you're in a fight for position going to the finish you won't have to worry about cruising along at the same exact speed with nowhere to go but down.

Hitting the D1 for some practice, probably splitting tween the Z and the Ferrari, since I struggle on those two tracks.

The RM Camaro is cool, but painting the wheels doesn't really stand out too much...
zer05ive, let me know if this is way too close to looking like yours and I'll throw some paint at the car!

P.S. I'm diggin' those treaded tires :)

Looks like we found our D3 photographer…

Damn. I was taking a nap. Racing would have been better. Now the kids are in the way.

I'll jump In there with you handlebar

Would be great, but wife back from LA in 10 min, but the others are scorching some rubber.

ADR is the lap time to beat, iirc.

Looks good! I have no objections with your chosen color combo as long as you agree to be the D3 photographer! :sly:

Just kidding of course, although it would be nice! Eiither way, no more white cars in D3 please! Two's company, three's a crowd! :D

What's involved to be photographer? I'm only going to make 1 race in September (real racing conflicts), but I'll do what I can when I'm there.

Real racing!?

Oh, God. I'm even more hosed than before. Closest I get to real racing is trying to beat granny to the parking spot at the grocery store.

Basically you just take pictures of the races from the replays–try to show action and whatnot–and post them here. If you're only going to race occasionally, though, you probably don't want to be the official photographer.

Doesn't mean you can't post some pics when you can show up, though.

I'd like to pick a color combo and number

Color combo: Red/White
Number:87 (22 and 12 both taken :ouch:)

Noted down for you, moi.

Based on the latest drivers' list info, I am moving KingBestJr to the inactives sheet. This frees up the use of chrome orange as a colour as well as the #23.

I'll snap some pics from Sunday:)

Real racing for me is this:
I engineer all 5 of them, weekends go by fast! And hint: read what's written on the side of the blue car:) (he's going to kill me)

EDIT: Reserve #23 for GTP_SGPracing in D4. He won't read the thread as he's driving to my house right now!

I'd like to join please.

Hey ZohsixGT5,

Glad you want to join S.N.A.I.L. 👍 Wonder which car you'll pick given the chance :)

We run a clean league by enforcing the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and we expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both.

Follow These Steps:
1. I add you to the drivers list as a New S.N.A.I.L.
2. You run the Time Trial.
3. You Private Message my GTPlanet account with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
4. I assign you to the appropriate Division, to give you the best racing possible.
5. A PSN friend request will be sent from the appropriate SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That is where you race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday :)

The original post has a lot of information regarding the league, commit it to memory ;)

The second post has the current race lineup and is updated weekly.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread. To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

Welcome aboard and enjoy :)

Thanks. I've been eyeing this league for a few months. I will have a PM to you with the TT info within 2 hours.
