I hope everyone had fun tonight, Happy One Year S.N.A.I.L.

I think what we'll do is notify the GTPedia winners Christmas morning, something else to look forward to :)

Take care everyone, Merry Christmas and may you have everything you hope for

-Happy 1 Year Anniversary Snail Racing-

 Here's to another year of great racing

Tonights anniversary races were great fun! :)

Happy 1st birthday SNAIL! I'm so glad I got the invite to this group back in September. There is no doubt in my mind that this is Gran Turismo's premier racing league. This league would not be where it is without all the great people involved. We have an excellent system backed by a stand-out group of guys that are always willing to help fellow members and even the league itself. In my opinion, SNAIL is the best thing to happen to Gran Turismo and should continue for years to come.

We need to get a story for the GTPlanet home page.

Great racing tonight by everyone in D2/3. It was all alot of fun but the most fun was the last race with just four of us. We took the Amuse 380 out to Daytona Road and could throw a blanket over the four of us at the finish. Thank you Cheeb, Goat, and Crash for the best race of the night and thank you to SNAIL for being a great organization to race with. I've been here since it was one division and I have no plans of leaving.

I totally agree with all the above and would like to add my $.02 for what it's worth...💡 GT ought to be aware of this league too (with article). This is a league where future GT Academy competitors come to race. Look at D1 as the standard example.

The driving skill improvement here is incredible. I first came here in late October/early November. Like the new guys who have been on probation with me, I struggled early on with racecraft. After learning from the "complaints" (I don't like that word), videos, and discussions with the stewards, I have a blast every Sunday and Wednesday practice when I can make it. And since my racecraft improved first, I have improved on a lot of other aspects of racing.

In summary, I totally agree with AMWeaver and want to THANK S.N.A.I.L. and S.N.A.I.L. Stewards. And thank you to all the cordial, intelligent racers that partake in this online fellowship/forum.

Merry CHRISTmas to all who make up S.N.A.I.L. :):sly::D

Where might you see us or see us driving?

What's it worth too you? I will say that the track is staying:) I have two very different car choices ( I think they are both excellent) but I want to see what Joey does as I want to make sure we have a good variety of PP

:)HEY GUYS, I WOULD LIKE TO WISH TO EVERYBODY HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND ALL BESTS!!! It is good to be a part of this league and thanks to everybody who supports SNAIL!!! CHEERS:cheers:

I WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, I WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!! Hope everyone has a great christmas and have a happy new year!!!
I'm so glad I joined this league, I've had alot of great moments and alot of great battles throughout the 4 months i've been here, thanks to all that have helped me increase my speed and my racecraft. I look forward to alot more memories and lots of great races to come. Once again thank you.

I have an idea. The idea is weekly races at Daytona Super Speedway. The basis for this idea is to serve as a practice session open to all SNAIL's with the goal of improving their ability to race in close proximity to one another. The cars would be spec and each night would consist of short races not requiring a pit stop. I would be able to give some prizes to the winners each night in the form of cars, tickets, and paints. It would be a fun event but it would also enhance everyone's ability to race in a pack. I feel that this would help the overall racing on Sunday's as well. If anyone would be interested in this, let me know and I will set something up.

This would also serve as an outlet for the SNAIL's that like oval racing. I know there aren't many of us, but I feel it will be a nice thing to have around.

If I had more evenings available (and I hope to, in a few months), I would jump at this. Ovals aren't normally my thing, but like you said, you spend a lot of time in a fluid pack of cars. You also spend proportionally more time turning than on a road course. So it makes for good practice. Maybe come springtime 👍

I like Ovals, My name starts with one!

Hi guys I miss you all. I miss GT5. Is it the 26th yet??? Way busy holiday this year.

zer05ive, any chance the credit cap can be raised temporarily since seasonal payouts are currently doubled?

Merry xmas everyone! Wish I could have got in on the action yesterday, butwe didn't get back from the wives families until nearly 12.

I'm glad to hear that everyone enjoyed the races last night! Thanks for all the kind words about the league as well. None of this would be possible without the collective team effort of a lot of great guys!

If any of you wish there there was something you could do to help the league, please let me know and I'm sure we can find a way for you to contribute (other than just racing of course :sly:)

For example, right now I'm looking for a Wednesday practice coordinator. This person would be responsible for making sure that there is a host for both the BLUE ROOM and the RED ROOM on Wednesday night and would also be the one who posts the room numbers for both onto the thread (kinda like this). Please keep in mind that you wouldn't have to actually host one of the rooms if you don't have a good connection. You'd just need to coordinate with the hosts. However, if this position doesn't sounds interesting to you, just let us know if there's something else you'd like to help out with. :)

Thank you Zero. Thank you all. The SNAIL experience has been and remains amazing. I looks forward to Wednesday and Sundays.

Also got my SNAIL t in the mail today! Thinking I'm gonna fluff it with my towels and wear it today! LoL

Merry Christmas guys. Hope you have a good time worth family and friends.

See you all Wednesday!

Got my T-shirt in today. Thanks zer05ive. I have a fish tank that has about 20 to 25 snails in it. I showed them the T-shirt and I think they really liked it too.

Whew! I was hoping to have the shirts to you guys in time for Christmas! Looks like a few got there just in time! :P

Be sure to thank kcheeb for the shirts as well!! :)

I'd like to appologize to anyone else who might have been effected by the lag I was dealing with last night. At times it looked to me like all the cars were flying randomly around the track, so I have no idea who i may have hit. I decided to park it after the third race to stop being a safety hazard.

Anywaym happy 1 year to everyone! And a Merry Christmas!

That must have been an exeprience. I didn't experience any directly, but I did see some mayhem ahead of me from time to time :scared:

Was bummed you didn't get to race all night :(
