Maybe you are not hardcore enough? (see my link few posts above)
Or maybe i consider other driving aspects a more important part of physics than the top speed of supercars on ultra long straights (which you dont find on race tracks anyway) ;)

Well, after doing two time trial laps in my trusty 156 and attempting to drift the AE86 on Midfield,
I think im gonna race some cars with my Pennzoil Skyline!....

....Holy 🤬 is that the Arch-Duke? CPU driving a 15th Anniversary car?

AI using Anniversary cars was added in a previous update a while ago.

Maybe. It's up to you what you care about :)

For me though, I find 'the difference' noticable above 130 mph, on any track, so every time I see speed higher than that, I feel that unrealistic boost 'being enabled'.... So, for example, when i get 170 mph on the straight of the race track, in fact I should be getting ~160 mph there... And so on.

That in itself says nothing about how good the driving physics are and there are not many occasions the cars will be driven flat out and reaching their maximum speed. In general, the physics are very good - this makes reference to the behaviour of the tyres, inertia, suspension mechanics, etc. If you have a valid point to raise about certain aspects of the physics, please do so in the appropriate place and don't use this thread as a vehicle for baseless and unsubstantiated claims or impotent complaining.

May I ask you, where is that place, where I could provide more in depth analysis, facts and evidence about this serious and substantial physics flaw?

This is ironic, considering this is coming from the person who stirred up hate towards GT6's (perfectly good) physics in a thread that had no relation to that topic. Perhaps you should take your own advice and go and discuss it in there, because I've seen you moan about GT's physics completely irrelevantly in threads before.

In other news, I'm really enjoying Midfield Raceway. I'm fairly confident this is the most graphically impressive track in the game, and driving iconic cars from the series on it brings back a rush of GT2 memories!

I've been wanting this track since GT5, pretty much, and we've finally got it! Is this evidence that PDI acknowledge our Suggestions forum?

The track is great, i did about 20 laps with my S2000, with comfort tires, and it feels very grippy, maybe too much to make it as a test track, i think the cambered corners hides the true defects of the front suspension. In reverse, that first corner is still lots of fun, and the last two corners are fantastic. Beautiful and detailed, couldn't ask for more.

The Mini looks great, but the handling is not my thing, it don't need racing tires, it understeers if you carry a bit more speed through the corners, so it's better to slow in and fast out. Maybe sport tires and a good tune will make it more interesting. It's a shame it will go to the garage and stay there, and i will probably be driven a standard instead.

So, undocumented thread thinks there is a change to physics, as a ds3 user I cannot really tell, we need more confirmation.

Midfield - the corners 6 and 7 are taken differently by Ai as I do, sticking to the inside the whole corner , they go out
wide and back in, which makes me crash into them :banghead: Underpowered car and SH tires vs RH made me do 10 laps and when I turned back on the data and realised im 5/10 with 30 second pace I gave up (Quite a challange, had fun chasing some cars in front)

B-Spec dissapointed me, it doesnt even seem improved nor inovated, it just got worse than in gt5 , totally useless thing in my eyes, after that much time, they couldve atleast include real endurance races, also, is it just me or those epic seasonals with AI half a lap in front of you had more agresive behavior? why not include that as a feature to use in arcade races, oh also , tire and fuel wear in arcade? ability to choose number of cars on starting grid? we already those things in game why not use them!

1.16 B-Spec Mode Impressions:

The Good:

AI seems a bit smarter than in GT5 B-Spec.
New Real-Time commands.

The Bad:

No Bob customization - Like in GT5
No Bob statistics/team management - Like in GT5.
No incentives, such as double payouts or special paint chips.
No endurance Races
- Making the mode redundant.
No remote racing - Same as above.
Can't change audio settings from pause menu, unlike in A-Spec.

Overall, B-Spec feels less intuitive and has less depth than its previous two iterations. The feature seems boring and stale, and at this point in GT6's life, entertaining features are important and B-Spec in its current implementation is neither useful nor very entertaining.

The Mini VGT sounds great in cockpit view 👍

My Alpine A110 definitely feels heavier than before. If it's because of actual weight difference, or because of some suspension tweak, or because of some grip tweak I don't know, but I've been driving this car for 2000 kilometers before the update and I'm certain that it feels different fnow.

Midfield is cool.

I actually think that B-spec is pretty good. I only tried it in Nascar so far, but it's great there.

Painting wings: Haven't tried that yet, I don't have very many cars with custom wings :P

Will be downloading at some point today.:),the CWC has been taking up alot of my time recently.Anyone done a B-spec race yet?
The b-spec is a bit different from GT5/GT4, but I'll have to adjust to it.

Just tried out Midfield. Turn 3 seems a bit more challenging than in GT3/4. Could be due to me just driving an MR car though. Also you can see some obvious down-scaling in certain sections of the track.

also missed opportunity... so they have new seasonals

why not give us a seasonal on your new track Midfield? with the new Mini?

Nothing beats nostalgia so it's great to have Midfield Raceway back. Sadly, it turns out that I don't care at all for the new B-Spec. Paintable custom wings and Vision GT don't have much of my interest.
