Finally got the Alpine VGT. I had to drive to the other mall in order to get it. Damn hoarders...

And the only issue I have:

It seems to be a problem that the other party who released one of these, Norev, had. Their 1/43 Vision also lacks a wing, despite having the Race Mode's paintjob... Do 1/64 scale model brands hate rear wings all of a sudden? Is this a new business strategy I'm not aware of...?

Maybe the wing is too complex for them:

Perhaps, that's the only reasonable explanation. Considering the troubles Takara Tomy is having with a wing as simple as the 787B's, I can't even begin to imagine what would the plastic suppliers think of this added-at-the-last-second because the original design sketch didn't have it complex 3-piece wing... To much hassle for not enough profit, maybe?

That's the straightest one, yet. I had another collector on Twitter posting his(but not of rear wing). He is in our circle, but didn't mention anything about rear wing, so I assume his was at least also acceptable. So, so far:

First two: @domalorite had at least one with slightly slanted rear wing. Were both like that, or just one?

Third & fourth: F60 on Twitter. First one had crooked rear wing, second was worse(also rear cowl that wouldn't sit right).

Fifth: I think belonged to HeyTurn on Twitter, which was acceptably straight.

Sixth: Masked Rider on Twitter - No complaints from him.

Seventh: Yabi & his perfect 787B.

This is how it's looking so far in my groups.

My front wheels look slightly more better defined than (I think it was) @domalorite s car.

It's pretty decent. Still not worth the money but better than the early ones we've seen.

I might get some more photos when I get back home.

Which shipping method do you guys recommend for amiami? I want to purchase a model car there, but I don't really care for how long it takes to reach my hands. As long as it's intact and manages to arrive at the doorsteps, I'm fine. So I'm struggling to choose between Air Small Packet and SAL Small Packet (Registered).

Just do Small Packet Registered.

Got to Canada in a week somehow. Sometimes 2 weeks. It's barely a boat ride for you in HK. Mine has to go over the Pacific.

I reckon I've got at the very least a week of waiting before my 787B arrives. :nervous:

Still waiting for the Dream Tomica Circuit Wolf Lotus to be released before my order with the 787b gets shipped. I probably won't see it before the end of the month. :indiff:

Adds that to want list. If I can find a store that actually restocks hot wheels which is getting rarer for some reason. A lot of my stores barely have new stuff if they do have cars it's the stupid theme assortments like Guardians of the Galaxy.

It's like that here right now, but I'm very surprised to hear it's happening there too.
