Word. There's a bunch of detectives up in here. This is becoming silly.
Rich SButton seems to be a bit better in a long race. I wonder if Hamilton will let him by once they've done a few laps. Depends on the start shuffle I guess...
What's with the 'I'm going to brand you as a fanboy' going on?
About Vettel and pole/podium getting the lion's share of attention, that's simple for me: it's boring (from my perspective) because we don't really know if Vettel's race craft has actually improved. Yes, he flew by Button at Albert Park without choking and good for him, but again that doesn't prove as much as what I'd like to think we all want to see - Vettel under pressure similar to, or in the case of him defending his title, even more pressure than he underwent last season. Having to get by fierce competition that isn't going to let him by regardless of how quick he is. All we know for certain this year over last is he's gotten faster. That's about all of it really.
This is becoming silly.
It was a legit move to take track position. Unless something has changed recently, you are allowed to overtake in qualifying and Massa did so to get clean air for his flying lap. Neither was on a flyer and they didn't touch so there were no problems. It was a smart move.
I'm sure if Hamilton or Button had done so, you would be praising their ingenuity for getting themselves the clear air they needed. No?
So you're already assuming Hamilton will get past Button at the start?
Yes. KERS makes up for a lot of time on the back straight though. Something could have been done to get into Q2 at least. Red Bull knows something we don't?
SchumacherWebber out, Sutil out, Heidfeld out, Saubers out
Are there excuses forSchumacher'sWebber's lack of pace compared toRosbergVettel this time?
You're ignoring the reusable energy part of KERS. That's huge. They're making something from energy that will otherwise be wasted. How is recycling not 'green'?David Hobbs made a good point during qualifying, if KERS is supposed to be a "green" movement in F1, why is FIA allowing teams to destroy these batteries over 1 race weekend? Like David said, there is nothing "green" about making or recycling batteries.
Why don't you just post your opinion instead of altering my post? That strikeout thing is stupid. Mark's 4th and 5th place finishes are better than Michael's 9th. Neither of the Mercedes' drivers' race pace was that impressive. Again, it was clear from Webber's onboard shots that his KERS wasn't discharging. Also, until this weekend Mark has qualified close to his teammate with two 3rd places. I don't get what you're trying to say.
How? I don't care for Mark nor Michael. We're talking about relative performance to their teammates and Mark has performed closer to his teammate in qualifying than Michael has. It's fact.I'm seeing strong double standards going on here....

Recycling papers, plastics, glass, etc. is useless as well? It takes a lot of energy to make waste (recycled goods) back into a new bottle or whatever.

Can't wait for this race. I just really hope that Vettel can't get a 2 second advantage on lap 1.
Vettel's Qualifying reminds me of Senna.
His raw pace is just ridiculous. The hating on Vettel because his not stuck down in the pack is also ridiculous. Honestly the ability to pull the laps he is doing, when he needs them is crazy, and in the race he always has the pace when required.
Looking forward to the race.
I don't think it was Vettels fault at Spa though. The track was pretty greasy.
Otherwise, Vettel hasn't been tested too much in traffic as everyone has hoped but it still stands as he is one of the fastest drivers on the grid, and especially this season. I would love to see Schumi battle it out with Vettel but as of yet this season he almost can't be touched.
