I'm not sure if many of you have noticed this but the car that clocked the highest speed on the back straight is the HRT of De La Rosa at 324.3kmh!

The 2 slowest cars are Red Bull and Marussia clocking at just 312kmh.

I'm going to speculate that, if it follows the plan that by the time the DRS is activated and Hamilton is within a second behind Vettel, Hamilton with the highest speed of 318kmh could sneak past Vettel. Alonso's not all that fast on straight either.

EDIT: Maldonado will start last again, just like in Monaco for changing a gearbox. Just hope that he doesn't rocket into the back of an HRT.

If your cornering is good enough (as is in the RBR and Ferrari) and get good traction out of the slow corners, you easily overcome a 5kph "handicap" and stay >1s ahead. It's like what Enzo Ferrari said, but the other way round.

Maldonado last is always another worry for the back of the field... But better them than the leaders...

Feeling good for Fernando here.

Vettel may just win it. Even with a fast Hamilton on his tail, Vettel will be able to keep him at bay... but let's be honest. Alonso. He's starting in third, slotted behind Vettel on the clean side of the track. This is a man who knows how to start. Who knows how to stick. And who knows how to finish. And who possibly has a better package than Vettel.

Not just the one between his legs.

And even if Hamilton gets an early lead, there's always the lone wheelnut man on the grassy knoll...

If Vettel wins... okay, Newey... I'm impressed. I've always known you could develop a car well from the front, and your almost endless bag of tuning tricks was amazing to watch last season... but a come-from-behind catapult into the lead in 2012? That will be incredible.

LOL Watching with my family and we are discussing how awkward the Grid walk can be and how awkward some situations can be. LOL

Love Adrain Newey shutting his sketchbook as soon as Martin Brundle walks up. Apparently he was seeing if there was any designs he could "borrow" from other teams.

The top 3 drivers can win but i predict Vettel will blast away like always.
Podium spot maybe...just maybe for Button.

1 or 2 safety car appearance, no more-no less.

Will Vettel dominate? Will Hamilton have clean stops? Will Alonso extend his championship lead? Will Schumacher complete a race? Will Grosjean complete a lap? Will Brundle ever get a new iphone?

Will Kimi ever figure out what those blue flags mean? Will Maldonado outlive being a one-hit wonder? Will we actually get a seventh in seven?

Lets get this show on the road, I am for Ferrari and would love to see 7 in 7 so a Massa win will work 👍

Okay. Race is over. Vettel in front. Situation normal. It's two a.m. here and I'm going to bed.

Not.
