Spies better stay his butt in MotoGp at-least. Tech 3 is where I figured he would go?,...

Hayden is supposed to sign contract with Ducati at Mazda Raceway I read on Speed App'

I doubt Spies would go back to Tech 3, he might go to Ducati or maybe even Gresini despite it being unlikely.

Now that I think about it, I reckon Cal will go to Ducati to replace Rossi. Rossi witll go to the second factory Yamaha, but it will be a Malboro Yamaha and Jorge will have his current sponsors. They will be in the same team, but not really in other words.

Dovi stays at Tech3 and is joined by Smith.

;)

The last thing Ben should be doing is looking for a challenge. His best year was with Tech 3 and after his performance this year I would be looking to go back to the point where I had the best turn-out, and that's Tech 3. But that's me! I figured before his announcement that him and dovi would just switch rides, but if vale doesn't stay at Ducuti, I wouldn't be surprised to see a crazy turn out with rides next year'

As far as Moto 2 goes, I'm glad my boy Andrea Iannone is placing better results because of his better qualifying this year. That's what killed his chances last year'

As said before and backed up by Julian Ryder, Spies is most likely going back to WSBK for a two-year with BMW.

Hmmm... I don't know about the Malboro Yamaha thing... I heard somewhere that it was maybe going to be Monster (Vale's personal sponsor), besides if Malboro leaves Ducati I'd be surprised... Ducati is linked to Ferrari F1... See where I'm going with this?
Now Rossi said "money not important for decision", but I personally think he should stay at Ducati... I mean he has less pressure to win there, because if he lines up with Lorenzo he will get beaten 90% of the time, now I'm a big Rossi fan and a Lorenzo hater... But let's face it... After he fell in 2010, the real Vale never really came back... And on top of it he's 33, riders last until 36 more or less, it's not like in F1 where you have a 43 year old that can still be pretty competitive...

What a waste of a seat that is going to be.

We said that about Karel Abraham but I was rather impressed by him last year. This year not so much but he is injured of course.

Back to the Rossi matter; whether it is Malboro or not, if he goes to Yamaha he will bring a title sponsor which is what the current factory team do not have.

Are tobacco companies even allowed to sponsor race teams these days? I know rizla had Suzuki when they were racing but they are not a tobacco company even though they make "rolling papers" for tobacco.

It'd probably be the barcode logo or something like that.

I really do hope Rossi moves to another manufacturer as I would like to see him win again. It would be great on the Ducati but I think he has to accept that the bike has allot more R&D needed for it to get on pace, and that takes long, maybe in the future the Ducati could possibly find a second, but of course while Ducati may improve, so will the other bikes potentially.

Rossi most certainly still has the talent, he has not lost it, just needs to get on a more accomplished bike.

I think Rizla got away with it simply because of the fact they make the paper, not the tobacco. It's the same reason why Swan sponsor the top Yamaha team in British Superbikes.

When tobacco sponsorship was banned, Marlboro reverted to the barcodes apart from a few select races, but at some point in 2010 it was deemed that even that was tobacco sponsorship, and was therefore removed. The barcode remained on the overalls though until the start of 2011 when Ferrari revealed it's new team logo, which many believe acts a subliminal advert for the brand, evocating the top-left corner design of a Marlboro cigarettes pack.

The same applies to Ducati, although they were allowed until the start of 2010 to have Marlboro sponsorship on their bikes at the season opening race at Qatar. From 2011 they've had just Ducati on the fairing.

Marlboro still sponsor Ferrari and Ducati (they signed a new deal with Ferrari to the end of 2015 last year as well), despite the name or barcodes appearing nowhere on the cars/bikes.

I guess getting a factory check is getting a factory check no matter the series'

So swingarm failure caused Spies crash at Laguna. Guy has no luck :(

That really looked weird.

And Vale had "cold" front tyre?

"my rhythm wasn’t fast at that moment. Still, I lost the front when I was approaching the Corkscrew, when the bike was vertical, right when I touched the brake, a bit like happened at Silverstone. We have a real problem: again today, we had a hard time getting the front tyre to work, and it was like new after thirty laps."

I was at Laguna Raceway last year when Casey Stoner did the exact same pass on Jorge as he did this week, crazy man! too bad Moto 2 doesn't run here'

Iannone and Redding are testing the Ducati at Mugello this week. If anybody was to get that Duke working Redding is the man. He isn't shy!

Now there is a rumour that Ducati have asked Masao Furusawa for help. The man who with VR turned Yamaha's fortunes in MotoGP. He retired when Vale left. If he was to come onboard Rossi I think could stay. Question is would Furusawa want to help the Italian manufacture after such a successful time with Yamaha?

Iannone has done really well considering they made a late change to the Speed Up chassis just before season start. I really hope he can claw points back on Marquez because I think he has the beatings of him.

If he does go to moto gp it will need to be on a Ducati. If Rossi leaves and Cal replaces him there will be no Italian and then the amount of money they are throwing at it would come way down.

On the other hand... :
- Rossi is prepared to give up a reported $US40 million ($A38.4 million) two-year offer from Ducati's new German owners Audi to switch back to Yamaha to ride a bike that would allow him to "fight for race wins".

- Rossi will use the current summer break to consider a last-minute plea from Ducati-Audi to stay while sources close to Rossi say he is "80 per cent committed" to a Yamaha return.

- "It is a big risk to stay at Ducati because I can't wait to make my decision" said Rossi whose last race win was on a Yamaha in October 2010 in Malaysia.

Stoner reinforcing my opinion that he is an absolute clown who will take any opportunity to have a dig at Rossi. Rossi has a closer bond with Yamaha than he will ever have with Ducati and any racer who doesn't chase victory over anything else is no longer a true racer.

The reason fans forgive Rossi is that he is genuine. He rarely moans, or spouts BS about other riders, he just does his job to the best of his ability. Who can stay mad at a true sportsman?

Stoner, I cannot wait for you to leave the MotoGP paddock and hopefully never reappear in any other motorsport discipline.

I have said before that I would like Rossi to return with Yamaha, he's got common sense and I'm sure he can see that he's not likely to improve on the Ducati, and unless Audi can guarantee that he will have a competitive bike next season then I see him going elsewhere.
