2013 12 Hours of Sebring ALMS

Both Audis within 3-4 seconds of each others, somewhere around 5 laps in front of the #12 Rebellion, so it's indeed pretty moot to go and barnstorm the whole thing.

The 66 car is going to have one heck of a time trying to keep that car on the road with no breaks and a half an hour to go.

It's not over quite yet, however. Mallucelli will have to regroup and go for it again.

With just under ten minutes, can the Ferrari catch the Vette?

White Flag now out.

Quite happy for Spencer Pumpelly aka Exit Speed, for those of us old enough to remember the Granturismo.com forums, 2nd place in GTC, well deserved for him.

Good race, I always feel so lazy after watching so much tv...and only a little over three hours to go for the F1 opener in Austalia 👍

Exactly, no breaks, no luck it seems too.

Was a good race, as always. I think the GT class would have ended the same even if Mallucelli hadn't missed his breaking point. The 'Vette was closing in fast and probably would have taken him as there was more than ten minutes to go. Another Audi victory for the 'young' team. They're doing extremely well, after winning Le Mans and the WEC last year. They now have a victory at Sebring, too.

Indeed. Well, it's been a pleasure. Thanks for all the contributions today, see you guys in the F1 thread later if you're watching the race. :)👍

Or maybe I should go to bed?

Yeah yeah.

Great race. Shame that Fox decides to go with the less then ideal method it did today (because everybody cares more about that once race where everyone wrecks each other  ) for its final broadcast of the Sebring 12 Hours. I only dread what they'll do to Petit Le Mans.

That aside, enjoyed the race. Deserving winners all around, even if one of them drove for that scumbag. GT didn't dissapoint as all day I really couldn't find a car that I wanted to win.

Now I'm off to occupy myself while waiting for F1 by trying to see how close I can come to the pole times. Later and hope to see you guys for the next major enduro 👍

I have to admit that for some reason I more enjoy watching races on tracks I've virtually run, and I've logged many hours at Sebring in Forza. It kinda sucks that I'm not a big fan of Sebring though, I think mainly because it's as flat as a pool table and with absolutely no scenery of any kind so it's really lifeless. I also enjoy watching my Audi prototypes doing well, since they've been my go-to cars at the top end (in races for high-end race cars) in lots of games over the years.
