2013 12 Hours of Sebring ALMS

Eh I am not getting any commentary on the Speed 2 site... I like the silence sometimes but having nothing makes me feel like I am missing something
Just thought about opening radiolemans in a background tab. Damn I am good

Speed2 is only available to certain cable providers, and the ALMS site is only good for international broadcasts. What a crock.

There are two choices. Continue to watch on www.speed2.com, which you have access to if your provider broadcasts Speed (channel). Or you can watch tape-delayed coverage of event starting at 10:30 pm.

But either way, it's a joke. Nothing against motorcross fans, but here we're talking about one of the 3 or 4 premiere endurance races in the world and they're going to break away from coverage, with 3 hours left to show, what is it, round 11 of the Moto-x series? The disrespect and disdain this shows for their fans, disgusts me. And even though I'm now watching the feed on speed2.com (Core i7 PC with a good quality video card, connected to my 55" TV via HDMI) the quality is absolutely awful. It's not 1080p. It's not 720p. It's not 480p. It's not even STD definition, over-air broadcast quality. It's a bloody mess.

I suppose if one really wants to be cynical, it's easy to see the reason for the tape delayed coverage is so that you're forced to make a choice between watching the end of the race or flipping channels to watch F1 qualifying.

Either way, it just makes me angry.

What a shame, the Viper was going so well today, challenging up front for most of the race. :(

Edit: Fixed and back on track, it's in 5th now, down from 2nd place. It also lost 3 laps during that problem.

Almost! :)

I thought the same thing, but RadioLeMans is replaying an older 12hrs of Sebring. Not the live one.

Apparently speed2 needs all the cookies enabled to run. Basically had to shut down my antivirus to watch the race. Not happy about this. :grumpy:

Yeah I am sitting here like damn either they don't care at all about the Vipers or something fishy is going on

Edit: finally found the one from ALMS. com and everything makes sense now

I'm currently trying to figure out why this is considered better than ESPN by many. Speed2 is available to less people and Fox clearly still doesn't know how to use the Internet.

I'm missing some of this race due to the F1 Qualifying. My dad and sister are adamant that we watch that instead. It's the break between Q2 and Q3 now anyway, so I'll try update you guys if I can, for those of you having trouble getting some coverage.

Both Audi's are still leading overall, I'm not sure on the gap though. The Rebellion Lotus is still 3rd.

The GT class is as follows #62, #17, #4. Again, not sure what the gap is as they're not showing times at the moment. They'll all be on the same lap though, I'm sure.

Looks like Oly is charging forward. Should make short work of Nick Tandy in the Falken Porsche soon. If they can keep it together, I expect the #4 Corvette to win.

Audio went out again. I'm trying to eat, put a kid to bed, and whatnot. No time to hunt for a competent feed. I'll just watch it delayed.

Edit: Olly gets into the side of a GTC a bit. Didn't spin him, though. Hope he doesn't get a penalty. O.o
