2013 12 Hours of Sebring ALMS

You guys could always check Speed2.com to see if you can watch it there. Pretty much, if you don't have Comcast, you can watch it on Speed2.com.

I just relised: Grand-Am AND ALMS are sharing the same race control guy (I think Paul Walker is his name?). Some of these penalties look alot like the ones handed out at COTA weeks ago.

I'm following along through live timing again, so having a description of what's going on is so, so helpful. Thanks for the updates guys.

To anyone concerned about a stream, this works perfectly. It's great quality and didn't have any picture or sound problems for the entire 2 and a half hours that I used it, during MotorsTV's break. I'm not entirely sure if it works for everyone in America though, I think someone mentioned earlier. Try it out.

Yukon, that page is really just showing the alms.com feed. So, for most people in America it says "not available in your area" or whatever.

Mechs: It looks about 7 minutes behind. Not updating for me.

Is anyone looking at the live timing page? Is it just me or is it not updating?

It keeps going back and forth--it will update for 10 minutes and then get stuck for 10 minutes.

Some GT cars pitting now. The leader #91, 3rd place #17 Falken Porsche.

That should mean the #4 Corvette is back on the lead lap.

#1 passes #2 Audi for the lead.

Again at 6:44 left in the race.

I just realized this is the first time a Senna and a Prost have been on the same track in quite some time.. ;)

#1 Audi with lengthy stop stays on lead lap and GT cars pit.
#2 Audi has lead at the green.
#62 leads GT, I think.

And Pickett Racing passes the Rebellion Lola to take over 3rd overall. Great stuff!

Ow, the 6 got into the 52. Looks like the 52 stopped early.

And they now have just been handed a stop +50.

Edit: Treed

It's very unfortunate. It clearly wasn't on purpose but it looks like they're going to have a no-tollerance policy for contact at this race. Poor Klaus will have it to do, all over again.

Here comes the glare.

I'm glad they're being firm with the contact penalties. They're making it fair throughout the field, instead of punishing some and not others. It's how it should be.

Well, at least they are being consistant with the penalties. Seems like most often the big complaint is a lack of it.

And Graf in the Muscle Milk HPD now slowly winding the no. 12 Rebellion in, once again. Currently less than 30 seconds.

EDIT: Graf into the 1:49s - gap now down to close to 15 seconds.
