Contrary to United fans belief, there is another team playing.

Edit: And Welbeck has been taken some tips from Young on how to try win a penalty apparently.

Damnit, it would've been good to have 0-2 a bit longer... :P

Are you that blind?

There was obvious contact, and with the pace Welback had, it would have been a freekick, so yes a penalty.

And if your team doesn't get posted, why don't you do it? Instead you whine on other people.

Yeah, sure, contact. Not enough though. But even this had been about an FK, it would still be a dive.

Doesnt matter.

There was contact, it stopped Welbeck from coming through on what most likely would have been clean on goal. Therefor freekick = penalty.

Take nothing from Spurs, they did what they came for.

United were poor on the last 3rd of the pitch.

But thats how this season is. Rubbish.

BT announce 4 minutes of injury time after timing all second half stoppages, 4th official gives 5 minutes... Subtle...

Anyway, COYS.:D

Are you that blind?

Yes, I'm blind, and I'm watching a football match, because that makes perfect sense...

I'm just going to assume that match has put you in a bad mood.:D

Spurs go above us and we are now 5 points off 4th...

Not really, United were poor, so thats deserved. But your statement was just wrong. That put me in a bad mood.

And Young (of all people) should definitely had a penalty. But oh well. Match is over, done and history.

Young was falling over before Lloris was near him, his foot clipped Lloris on the way down, not enough to even affect his fall.

It would've been a lot worse for us today if Everton and Newcastle both won..

Yep, if anything was a pen, it was still Welbecks situation vs Chriches.

I got the information from Twitter and as I don't follow any Spurs account(s) (surprisingly), I didn't know the Spurs team.

Anyway, what the heck is up with United's home form at the moment? We were playing terrible until Spurs scored the second goal. We only scored because Spurs' defence switched off and started ball watching. Kagawa and Chicharito livened the game up a bit as well but it wasn't enough.

Also, both of the goals came from mistakes at Right Back. Smalling for the first one and Valencia for the second one.

so I was glued to Twitter tonight so I could tweet about the Darts final and there was a lot of stuff about Mata, he was upset after he got subbed just before the hour at the Southampton game and apparently Mourinho has said that the door is open if he wants to leave....did you hear that Moyes and Woodward?! sign him up now!!

Mata is just the type of player we need as well, some sort of creativity in the midfield. It's either him or Reus.

Is anybody planning on starting a transfer window thread? Or has it been done already, incase i missed it?

I think we could use this thread.
There isn't usually enough activity in the January Transfer Window to warrant a thread to be honest, we could use this or I could change the title of my old summer thread but I don't think we need a new one.

If you Man United fans think you'll end up signing Mata, well I'd keep dreaming.

There is no way Chelsea going to sell to a rival club, and to be honest he'll probably end up back abroad again.

Mata deserves to be playing the full 90 mins each game. He is easily one of the best midfielders in the league and is miles better than Willian. If Mata went to united (and apparently even liverpool have asked about him) then he would get the playing time he desreves. Jose is just a p**** Mata is CHelseas 2nd best player, with lampard still no1 in my opinion. He should just leave chelsea and go to a team where he would be more appreciated by the manager.

So Solskjaer was unveiled as Cardiff boss earlier and he said he can work with Tan, Yeah we'll see what happens if you lose your first few games mate!

Also he has gone against Fergie's advice when he was considering the Molde job, He said to him not to find a good club but a good owner...and no, just no!
