Tan is the kind of owner that would put keeper David Marshall up for sale due to his poor goal-scoring record.

There's some hilarious stuff on Twitter about Solskjaers 'contract', apparently he has to win the premier league, the FA Cup, Wimbledon, The Superbowl, the boat race, sign the goalkeeper from the Mars bar advert and blow up the moon!

Also there some more funny stuff on there about Tan and the kind of guy he is, he is the kind of guy who would buy Stevie Wonder and play him in goal...

...Or put on a disco for deaf children and then ask why no-ones dancing...

...or Buy a branch of KFC and stop selling chicken...

....theres so much stuff like this on Twitter in the last few days...ive laughed my head off so many times!

That's the one I saw!
It gave me a good chuckle

Oh and in regards to a separate transfer window thread, this one should be alright as there isn't usually much activity in January.

Im happy to use this one to talk transfers, I don't know why theres another thread anyway when we can talk about it here..

I just read the Wikipedia page about the English football pyramid for at least 45 minutes and was astounded at the depth of leagues and clubs in the system. I knew it was huge, but not 20-tier huge. Which left me dying to know, to those of you in the UK, is it common to have a friend or neighbor playing in a low-level Saturday league? It was such an interesting read.

Quite common, most towns have a team in such a league.

It really is expansive. My local team (Tadley Calleva) are in the Wessex Division One which is the 10th tier and I know of a few friends who's dad's play for them. I used to play for their youth team until a few years ago until it got dissolved due to financial trouble.

That's really cool. I think I read that there were no professional teams below the North/South Conference?

Watching Blackburn Rovers vs City on BT Sport Online. Good start, Rhodes on bench for us though, Robinson back after 13 months out. Can also hear Ewood park from my house, despite it being a full half hour walk away - the joys of living on a hill!

Half time - Rovers 1-0 down after a brilliant performance in first half, spoilt by an offside goal 👎

1-1! Scott Dann! Brilliant goal, first of the season for the captain.

A few shocks today, Villa losing to Sheff Utd at home, Blackburn taking City to a replay, Holders Wigan replay with MK Dons and Rochdale beating Leeds...the big game is on next..

Arsenal 1-0 up Cazorla, great play, great finish!

Because of United's rivalry with Leeds, the upset that I'm most pleased about today is Rochdale 2-0 Leeds. The City result is also very good as well as it means they have to play another game in an already hectic schedule.

Why are they using a Pink ball for the cup? whats wrong with the yellow or white one?

Arsenal now 2-0 up Rosicky!...what was Rose doing?!

I don't really care about the result, I just wish Dembele hadn't tolerated Wilshere though, absolutely hate that guy.

Great game, two great goals, great atmosphere and I loved Walcott trolling the Spurs fans as he went off!
