Well done Vettel, think we'll see a fourth in a row?

The most impressive thing I think I seen today was Paul di Resta's stint. That was so well done. The tyres still looked in relatively good condition too, amazing. I'm glad Kimi managed to finish in the points again. That's equalled Michael Schumachers record of consecutive finishes in the points (24). Another race and he's beaten it, go on Kimi!

Glad Hamilton made it to the end, too. Another Podium shows he's being consistent in his new team. I hope he can return to his winning form before the season is over.

Again, well done Vettel. Good drive.

Congrats to Vettel...lead from start to finish...

That's not entirely true. He was 2nd at one point during the race when he pitted before Lewis. He regained the lead as soon as Lewis pitted though.

Very impressive drive today from Lewis, considering how much slower that Merc' on Sundays, he finished nearly a minute in front of Rosberg!

Good battle with Alonso too.

Mighty drive from VET. Track was easy one tires, he could just go flat-out.

Good work from ALO, DIR and MAS. DIR and MAS especially for coming from way back on the gird. ALO's race was very well-judged.

Mediocre drives from WEB and RAI. Webber had a car good for the podium and didn't do anything with it. Lotus had a bad day all around

VDG gets the idiot of the day award, despite stiff competition from MAL.

First time Red Bull have won in Canada...

Thought the race was ok, some good battles and great job Vergne, Di Resta and Massa!

Couple of good fights, but quite boring race due fronts massive lead.

Driver(s) of the day... Alonso, Massa, Sutil (without the penalty)

Good thing F1 is coming back to Europe, where the real tracks are ;)

If you think the car isn't a huge factor you are fooling yourself.

Fun fact: since the constructor's championship began in 1958, the driver's championship has been won in a car that finished outside of the top 2 in the constructors just twice. Are you telling me that Keke Rosberg is the greatest F1 driver ever?

If you think the car isn't a huge factor you are fooling yourself.

The car may be a huge factor, but one can't really deny there's some skill behind the car too when one compares Webber and Vettel who are in similar cars

Race Rundown:

1. Sebastian Vettel - Amazing pace in that car. Amazing drive from Vettel, who finishes 26 seconds ahead of Webber, but only because he could cruise to the end with such a big lead over Hamilton and Alonso. Well deserved first victory at Montreal.

2. Fernando Alonso - A brilliant recovery to a rather ho-hum qualifying. And all of his overtaking was on track. A very scrappy race, with collisions with Mark and Lewis, but he pulled through. Is there anything the man can't do?

3. Lewis Hamilton - drove what he could drive. The Merc really didn't have the dry weather pace, but he managed to get more out of the tires than it seemed possible. Sutil's blue flag bungle cost him a place, but then, Alonso was going to get him, either way.

4. Mark Webber - sleepy race. He was in what was arguably the best car on the grid, but had trouble in his three-way with Alonso and Rosberg. Maybe if he'd qualified higher.

5. Nico Rosberg - Either he was monumentally screwed by tire strategy or the unusual number of pit-stops indicates he was having a problem with tire wear and set-up. Either way, the gulf to Lewis here seems even greater than it was in qualifying. Since Lewis has won here a number of times, it might just be down to Lewis liking the track better.

NO ONE ELSE MATTERS. Vergne in 6th was a lap down. That tells you all you need to know. NO ONE ELSE MATTERS.

Oh, except Paul Di Resta (7th) - Garbage tires whut? He did a fantastic one stop race, and if the rules didn't say otherwise, he could've done the whole thing on one set of mediums.

-

Kimi Raikkonen continues the points streak, matching Schumacher, but he won't be happy falling so far behind in the championship, and Felipe Massa makes up for a horrible qualifying, but you expect the Ferrari to collect points. Not walls.

-

Biggest losers (points wise): Bottas, though that's not his fault. Maldonado is even further back. Rosberg, but he still gets good points, and McLaren. Which has had a forgettable weekend all around.

-

Wall of shame:

Van der Gaaaaaargh. Blue flags mean move over. Not move into. Garrrrgh.

Sutil had a too interesting race, but managed to salvage something from it, after ignoring the blue pill, too.

Maldonado looks set to start a streak of penalties...

Peace. I'm out.

I dont think it was a boring race. It's not because the top guy fly away that it's a boring race. They was battle everywhere else.
