2014 Belgian Grand Prix

Whoa both Mercs locking the rears tyres at the bus stop. Rosberg's car went into anti stall!
Brembo were saying that corner was really hard on the brakes prior to the weekend, I don't understand why braking has become such a problem for Mercedes in the last 4/5 races.

I predict Max Chilton has a bright future in politics. He has completely ignored any and all criticism or public opinion, insisted that he is still relevant, and used that to justify placing his needs ahead of anyone and everyone else.

Surely he recognises that he has achieved nothing, will continue to achieve nothing, and that nobody would notice if he disappeared overnight.

I've never rated him. He's never won a single title in his life. Of course it helps when your dad's a multi-millionaire...

As big a fan of Kobayahsi as I am, I have no animosity towards Lotterer for taking over his seat. And I've got to say, he's impressed me. Faster than Ericsson in a car he had not once driven before, and he appeared very controlled out on track. I expected to see one or two mistakes, until he got used to the machine. But instead, he was extremely disciplined. Looking forward to seeing what he does in practice two.

Rumours are circulating that Chilton will race after all. It appears that his cheque cleared overnight.

Indeed he will!

Yea its kinda like the silly season is being played out on track this year.

Erm... no, F1 teams are businesses with a big budget and never enough income. The "contractual issue" has been resolve; eg Chilton's drive has now been paid for.

Silly season is certainly a part of F1 but this is more from the hard-nosed business side.

Hard to say.

Advertisers want to be noticed.

You will get noticed if you are causing alot of accidents so it can be a good thing.
They probably play a drinking game for Maldonado so they are happy when he spins/crashes/explodes/goes off track/decides to run into other cars/etc.

The time Lewis just set (49.1) and is faster than last seasons FP2 time set by Vettel on a 49.3, interesting. Maybe these cars are gaining loads down the straights and not losing too much in the middle sector.

Typical Euro's/Internationals trying to keep the Americans out. They knw they don't want the BEEF!!. F1 is great(obviously) but when u have only 1 American in the last 20 years, two Mexicans now, Maldanado & Kobayashi its gets a little WEAK....too bad im not a millionaire or id get ROSSI in myself. Ok Euro's, bring on the hateful replies!!

Ricciardo topped the speed trap in FP2 at 309.7 km/h, I think RB usually top the speed trap here because it's on the exit of Eau Rouge.
