And to think we only have to deal with this for 3 more races (I think?)

Just heard about Dollar General and Matt Kenseth signing an extension with JGR. If there is one positive with Home Depot being gone, it means we won't have to see that terrible rear bumper fade job.

Wrong thread

From L to R: Emerson Fittipaldi, Max Papis, Michael Waltrip (I guess he was driving the NAPA Camry.. didn't even know he was there...), Kerry Earnhardt.

Again. Wrong thread.
Really huh? I could swear it's a goddamn NASCAR at 48mn00 :odd:
And Goodwood is on GT6, are you sure YOU're not on the wrong thread/forum?

GTFO here, according to some we're on the wrong thread

This is not the Gran Turismo 6 forum. No need to get so heated up. And 48:00 is a Mercedes AMG.

Looks like another race where there might not ever be green flag pit stops.

Answer me this, because this beats me:

We didn't have such issues with the Gen6 on 1.5 milers last year as I recall, what's changed?

Drivers are more used to/more willing to take risks in this car now, it's the same reason that the first Talladega race post-Earnhardt was caution free

Downforce mainly. Recall that they've gotten rid of the ride height rule this year as well as added some rear downforce with that new spoiler.

Ride height and added downforce shouldn't cause tire issues.

Edit: This isn't the GT6 forum, this is the Motorsports forum.
The cars are faster, as a result. It's why Tony Stewart wrecked in the tire test at Indy. Goodyear said he was going a full second faster than they were expecting, which caused the tire to fail.

And that's the problem right there... The Gen-6 has progressively gotten faster over the last 18 months. Goodyear should have expected the cars to be faster and built a tire that could handle the higher speeds.
