Told you guysLooks like tires are again a problem this year
Really huh? I could swear it's a goddamn NASCAR at 48mn00Again. Wrong thread.
GTFO here, according to some we're on the wrong thread![]()
From L to R: Emerson Fittipaldi, Max Papis, Michael Waltrip (I guess he was driving the NAPA Camry.. didn't even know he was there...), Kerry Earnhardt.

Looks like another race where there might not ever be green flag pit stops.
Drivers are more used to/more willing to take risks in this car now, it's the same reason that the first Talladega race post-Earnhardt was caution freeAnswer me this, because this beats me:
We didn't have such issues with the Gen6 on 1.5 milers last year as I recall, what's changed?

This is not the Gran Turismo 6 forum. No need to get so heated up. And 48:00 is a Mercedes AMG.
EDIT: that is correct, my bad, I put the right Goodwood vid.Nope, not a single NASCAR car in sight. Nothing but Mercedes at 48 Minutes.
Just Gran Turismo in general, not GT6that is correct, my bad, 48' in in the second video is where you see the #3 car.
Oh and you are on a GT6 forum, NASCAR thread.

The cars are faster, as a result. It's why Tony Stewart wrecked in the tire test at Indy. Goodyear said he was going a full second faster than they were expecting, which caused the tire to fail.Ride height and added downforce shouldn't cause tire issues.
Edit: This isn't the GT6 forum, this is the Motorsports forum.
And that's the problem right there... The Gen-6 has progressively gotten faster over the last 18 months. Goodyear should have expected the cars to be faster and built a tire that could handle the higher speeds. The cars are faster, as a result. It's why Tony Stewart wrecked in the tire test at Indy. Goodyear said he was going a full second faster than they were expecting, which caused the tire to fail.
Not a surprise that tires are an issue.
Goodyear tires on the cars = tire issues.
