And this is how Ford is choosing to advertise...
Some hipster with a liberal arts degree.Whose idea was this?

One thing is clear though, they are not aiming for the typical 40 plus white male demographic. The video despite its retro feel is aimed at today's young adults. Personally, I'm happy that Ford is going more towards European/ Japanese sports cars feel than the typical pony/muscle car thing.
I'm seeing this a bit as well. It's failing.
Some auto social media is cross posting it and most are positive. Autoblog/Jalopnik ETC.I'm seeing it a lot.

Its a horrible Mustang Promo, but an otherwise catchy commercial. It's failing.
I guess this car shrunk more than we all thought. Wow.

The taillights are almost an exact copy of the ones off 1969 models. Roofline is almost identical as well, all the way down to the ducktail spoiler. Whats odd about that picture is that the pony in the rear has the tri-bar, not seen on ANY other 2015 Mustang.Odd, the more I look at the rear of that 2015, the more it reminds me of the first Mustang. There's just something about it that gives me that original Mustang vibe to it. Maybe it's the tailights or the shape.
It looks OK from the back, but direct side view I just can't get over the area with the taillights that bulges out. Just doesn't look right. Also, I've grown to really like the back of the new Mustang. I still don't like the headlights but the arse on that thing is perfect.
How about that, styled like my favorite year of the Mustang. The taillights are almost an exact copy of the ones off 1969 models.
