Alonso's season in a Nutshell

I really hope for them, Mclaren, Honda and all the fans that this ordeal won't turn out to be a failed return of Honda into F1.

Does anyone else hear that annoying echoing feedback sound on the main straight camera?

How fake was the "woohoo" from Nico's race engineer over team radio? Do you think he did a couple of practice woohoos before he comes on the radio?

Ted Kravitz really has no regard for Rosberg lol.

Basically saying to Lauda it must be a technical reason why Hamilton is behind Rosberg.

Just over seven-hundredths of a second between the Merc drivers. That's just fantastic driving right there.

I'd love to see how those final laps compare. Nico's driving over the last few qualifying sessions has looked very composed, very smooth.

EDIT: "Technical reason" could mean anything from a chassis more suited to Nico to a fundamental difference in driving style.

From what I've seen over the season, Nico has simply been on it, making fewer of those small mistakes than Hamilton.

I seriously hope Nico has a good end to this season so he's ready to bring the fight to Hamilton come Australia next year.... So far so good!

So no forcing people off the track OK Lewis?

Pretty much all radio messages like that sound fake to me, in both directions.

I think it's more of an attempt to put words into someone's mouth to stir up drama, and then put it into their highlights clips.

Good qualifying. Very close up front. Vettel not that far behind. I kinda like when Lewis starts second. Hes the more likely one to overtake, even if it is mostly drs coming into play. I bet he wants to make ammends from last year.

And whats with this 'Nico's been on it all year' chatter? Hes got 5 poles in a row but Lewis had 7 earlier. He also has lost 3 of the last 4 to Lewis and the title is clinched.

Imo, it looks like the media wants a story since the title is already over. He's "on a roll" so he has the momentum for 2016  Its like these guys gotta big up the race with wishful headlines to get people pumped about f1. Thats just my take. People want to be excited about f1, but there isnt much to look forward to and thats a big problem. Hopefully its a good race, though.

Watching these is almost better than the races themselves.....
