Hit my talent barrier with the controller and I suck on the wheel so not going to beat myself up over this result. Was only happy that I managed to get a gold time to be honest, especially after putting 160km on the car and onpy having two valid lap times to show for it!!

A lot of the shaking etc is because the car is wayyy too stiff for this very bumpy track. The front spring is at 30 which is crazy high for a car of this weight. If the real car drives like this I fear Nissan doesn't have a chance.

Regarding the odd track boundaries, its bizarre how some of the curbing is considered part of the track like usual, but some of the curbing is definitely not considered part of the track like the picture previously posted on Indianapolis.

Well. This thing's a monster. A proper challenge for qualification :D

Track limits are a bit odd in places, cones and bollards notwithstanding... And since I'm never going to be in the top 10 again:

Quite odd, indeed. This monster pushes like there's no tomorrow.

Mostly because there isn't a lot of American competition awake yet, my 3'34.957 is good for 62nd in the US (1212th overall). Like @GTP_CargoRatt, I'm going to be saving my wheel.

Edit - I think I already did too many laps; somehow I'm faster than Famine, which should never happen.

Last week, I did a number of runs at Le Sarthe with the Esperante and it took me over ten attempts just to get a clean lap. That car was a pig to drive but I thought "The GTR LM can't handle any worse."

Haven't started the round yet but based on what I'm reading, the car is not only worse, the track limits are more stringent than in the regular game. Oh joy.

On an aside, I wonder which will run more complete laps, me or the real GTR LM at Le Mans.

I'm done for the day I think, getting tired, done a 29.5 but can easily improve on that - I hit the last cone at the final chicane while on a PB for example....... Can do a 28.7 if I hook a lap together without hitting a cone but will leave that for another day.

Managed a 35.84X in my first lap.

I was doing a lot of invalid 33's without the grip glitch.

Let's see how I do it later :)

I completely agree. The ffb on the thing is just horrendous, almost to the point of undrivable. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am right now. It pains me to say this, but I'm done, not going to participate any longer. If people wanna continue saying this will separate the men from the boys, well that's fine, I'll be a boy but al least I'll still have a working wheel. Good luck everyone, hope you all reach your dreams.....and have working wheels at the end of this. I'm done.
Great, just great! I was so looking forward, especially with my good placement in Round 3 (22nd in my country) and now THIS. They must be joking...

Sorry mate, not joking. Even after sleeping on it, I'm just done, no interest at all to try any further. Imo, this round is just a complete joke and further shows that PD has no clue. I am simply fed up with PD in general, this is just the last straw for me. I mean, if I had a better chance of making the big party, I might consider risking it all. But not right now. I don't feel like busting up my wheel for something I really don't have a chance at. I have plans on selling my rig to help finance a new one for Xbox and I can't sell it if its all busted up. I had plans to retire after this round anyway, this just moves up those plans. I will be taking my rig down to my store in the next few days to put on sale. I've already had a few offers on it, so it so be quick and painless. This is truly it for me. Its been a long ride, just time to venture off into something different, frustration is much more than I can handle with this game. It is no longer fun for me, more like a chore. At any rate, I wish all of you the very best here and may you all reach your goals. I'll still be around, just no longer to support what was once my favorite game. Stay fast everyone, CargoRatt out.

31 finally....well last sector shakes me a lot....goosebumps :nervous:
You gotta have some balls (and some luck) to make the last sector almost perfect and no lift through the Porsche curves, but with all of the shaking and the downforce.... in my honest opinion.... it is just too damn scary!

You're completely right. Can you adjust your FFB on the wheel? I turned it down to almost nothing (20 out of 100), little bit more driveable now!

Yea, tried that obviously. Still shakes like a 10.0 earthquake.

all I can say its fast but its ugly and sound dreadful and it handles rubbish I hate it!!. But I've won it but I'll drive it when I feel like it lol :D

Can't you turn your FFB off?

I can, and have, but I can't play that way. I have to have some ffb, just not the rumbling, rattling joke that it is now. Remember, because of my stroke, I'm doing this one leg and one handed, which just further complicates things. Anyway, I'm done, gotta get the rig cleaned up and taken down to the store. Have a great day guys.

It doesn't actually handle that badly at high and medium speed. The Porsche Curves, Indianapolis, the Esses, the Hunaudieres chicanes and Tertre Rouge are actually pretty easy. The trouble is it just won't turn at low speed, Mulsanne isn't too bad, but Arnage in this is hateful. 👎

Ran a fairly sedate 3:29.7xx. Have been .6 faster to the split after Mulsanne and have at least the same again left in the rest of the lap. Ideally would be looking at a low-mid 28 currently, but since I'm not eligible I don't see myself putting in the time to reach that.

I find it to be quite the opposite. The car choices for the rounds this year prove they (and Nissan) are done screwing around with the little things and really want the best of the best. If someone can't get through this final round, determined to win, then that is not the person they are looking for.

nice mate good job:cheers:

like I say dont bother me to be top of the leaderboreds I got the car and the cash im happy besides I play a lot of gta v and tdu2 which I love playing on:D
