I find it to be quite the opposite. The car choices for the rounds this year prove they (and Nissan) are done screwing around with the little things and really want the best of the best. If someone can't get through this final round, determined to win, then that is not the person they are looking for.
I bet you any money that Nissan themselves won't be "getting through the final round" at the next 24h Le Mans...:lol:

I know it's only a game but at the moment (going by the recent test times) Wolf_Aono is faster than the top Nissan by 25 seconds.

anyone else getting question like this off people the live with?!
"why are you swearing so much"
"what cone didn't you touch"
"what do you mean you didn't go over the white line"
YEP! THAT IS MY LIFE RN.

I completely agree. The ffb on the thing is just horrendous, almost to the point of undrivable. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am right now. It pains me to say this, but I'm done, not going to participate any longer. If people wanna continue saying this will separate the men from the boys, well that's fine, I'll be a boy but al least I'll still have a working wheel. Good luck everyone, hope you all reach your dreams.....and have working wheels at the end of this. I'm done.
Completely agree with you about the FFB. It shakes my wheel and bounces all over the place even on the straights. My times and never very good, but that isn't the point. For the people with real skills, the time and effort to reach near the finals will cost them a repair bill on the FFB system in their wheel. Eventually I'll get a clean lap and just get out. I can't remember any car/track that produced so much shake and wear on the wheel in GT5 or GT6

Tried the car out for half an hour or so and managed a 3.28.168 for an early 1st place in the UK, tonnes more time for me to gain though. I was taking minimum risk especially around the cones and developing a base lap for me to work from.

But I actually quite like the car tbh  It's the cones that I hate :( I was on for a low 27 straight after my 28.1 then hit a cone slightly at the final chicane 👎

Hahaha. Who would have thought the car would be better than in Real-Life ;)
For now it is. I'd put money on the Nissan being very very quick by race day. Not race-winning quick but as quick as/quicker than the Rebellion's. :)

Got gold on my second lap by 0.09, then I remembered to turn off TC and ABS. 1:34.350, top 100 in the region, good enough for me. Cone placement is awful btw.

Actually, it can be better to run TCS with this car I found because that is what they run in real life. I actually got quicker lap times with it on than with it off.

Won't have time to put any more laps in tonight, but congrats on the time Mikey! You're going to be right in the mix I think. That's a right quick lap sir!

You gotta have some balls (and some luck) to make the last sector almost perfect and no lift through the Porsche curves, but with all of the shaking and the downforce.... in my honest opinion.... it is just too damn scary!
Lol....of course...didn't lift and putting good lap time

It doesn't actually handle that badly at high and medium speed. The Porsche Curves, Indianapolis, the Esses, the Hunaudieres chicanes and Tertre Rouge are actually pretty easy. The trouble is it just won't turn at low speed, Mulsanne isn't too bad, but Arnage in this is hateful. 👎

Ran a fairly sedate 3:29.7xx. Have been .6 faster to the split after Mulsanne and have at least the same again left in the rest of the lap. Ideally would be looking at a low-mid 28 currently, but since I'm not eligible I don't see myself putting in the time to reach that.
Guess I'll find out soon enough.

As for whoever decides the track boundaries, I'd love nothing more than to make them put cones around the real Le Mans and throw them into a meeting with drivers to explain. I'd bet that conversation would not be, ahem, AUP friendly.

sub 29 at 26th but i'm losing a second in the last sector alone. I'm not eligible but just want to set a good time. Unlike some people I don't spend every second of the day on there then run around with my head up my arse.

I'm curious as to why this invalidated my lap which was on course for a high 29 at least. :banghead:

It's pretty obvious...

... the shadow is on the gravel i.e. off the track.

ps: did my first lap on the 34's. My main objective was to keep being the fastest portuguese with a DS3 but after trying the car, I'm not so sure I'll keep improving. I hate FF cars but this is too much. A race car that requires you to stop on slow corners is not a race car.

I'd like to post a time, but unfortunately I've only done one red lap :(... I like the track and the car, I have no problems with the cone placements or track limits... Its just the hammering my wheel takes, I've tried playing with the settings to make it better, but its still bad.. I'm sat on the straights looking at the wheel as its banging and rattling away, praying it doesn't break, so I'm just going to leave this event well alone... shame :(.

Great, just great! I was so looking forward, especially with my good placement in Round 3 (22nd in my country) and now THIS. They must be joking...
yes mate i have the same problem. Im more then disappointed !!! this **** car is so stupid to drive... my wheel will not make it two weeks in this conditions

Of all the rounds, this actually took the least (far less then the Zytek at Spa). Best I managed was a 3:35.886. Car is fun to drive despite doing its impression of driving on rough country roads and its really strange steering in low speed corners. I imagine with softs and maybe some fiddling with the suspension, it'll be unstoppable.

3:33.990 and I just now realized that the car has KERS, so I can probably still improve significantly.

Can't push the button for instant boost though, it does so automatically.
