Question is now, will MM be breaking another record or two with most wins in a season and most championship points?
I think that is what is on he cards, unfortunately. He's fast and the rider is such a big part of the equation that we will just have to I've with it.

Rossi did an amazing job. Give him back 5 years and MM would be seeing a lot more blue at the end of the races too :D

Still yet to finish off the podium and IIRC he's only retired from podium positions, it's like he's got an extra gear and when he needs to he just finds time out of nowhere.

Glad Rossi did well but he seems to be destroying his tyres, I have a feeling that he was only second because he chose the harder front tyre and without it we could have seen an Austin.

I watched 20 laps of the main show and as Speedy says, first two laps were good and then it was pretty boring.

If he stays injury free, MM might win every race this year, which whilst being a great achievement, will be terribly boring.

.
The last time he finished off the podium was Mugello in 2012, immediately after he signed the moto gp contract.

Him winning every race is definitely a possibility, the only one I can see him struggle on is Assen since its always been a Yamaha track. But then again Lorenzo gets his dose of bad luck there every year.

If I didn't know any better, I would say Marc is going for the Full Season win Hat Trick!

-Good Luck Guy'

There were rumours of him going for the money at Ducati, so this is a good thing. I do hope to see him on a Honda at some point though, or anything with Marc as his team mate. Marc who incidentally has signed a 2 year extension, in other news, the earth orbits the sun.

Marquez having to work hard and is still getting the job done.
I loved watching Casey Stoner ride crazy, but Marc is Casey on crack! I would love to watch Casey try to catch Marc too, but after watching Marc's bike/rider skills around the sweeping Jerez, yea he is or will be the Goat of 2 wheels pavement racing. He doesn't ride the bike like the other guys do, the bike is an extension of him,..

Simon Andrews has sadly passed away after his NW200 accident :( :(. RIP lad, enjoy pursuing your passion in a better place.

I think we need to make this season more interesting. When exactly will Marc secure the title? I'm playing safe and saying with 4 races to go.
Also, how good was Jack Miller? He will struggle against those quicker Hondas in Muggelo but he can get them in the twisty bits.

That Moto3 race was one of the most entertaining bike races I've ever seen. Fantastic racing all round.

Can't help but agree with this. Apart from Honda's obvious straight line advantage, there seems to be no pace difference between the bikes at all in that class.

http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2014/Rossi on Marquez brilliance and Lorenzo mindset

You may hate Vale's "I'm the best" attitude, but I for one agree. He and Marc are aliens, Jorge is a mere human.
And Dani is actually Asimo...
Every rider has a rough patch and I can't remember the last time Jorge had one, lets not forget Jorge is a double world champion and he won the last 3 races of 2013. I saw a tweet which summed up the top riders brilliantly, Pedrosa, Rossi and Lorenzo are aliens and Marquez is Predator.

I'd see Jorge more as the Predator. As using the best tech to beat natural talent :) (note: not saying he hasn't any! Just going with the analogy).

But I would definitely leave Dani out of that top bunch. I like him, but he's too "nice".

Rossi and Lorenzo are aliens. I have no idea what Marquez is but he scares me. :nervous:

As for Pedrosa, he's my favourite rider but he owes his speed to the weight difference. He's running on the equivalent of an empty tank when everyone else has a full tank.

MM on pole again - at least Lorenzo is on the front row but Rossi will do well just to make the podium from his spot on the grid.

Also, congrats to Joey Dunlop for claiming the Superbike TT. Martin was the bridesmaid again!

Look out for Pedrosa as well, apparently he was running with weaker engine settings throughout the entire Q2 ( Looks like it was his mistake).

I wouldn't write off Rossi just yet, he had a similarly bad qualifying at round 1 and he was challenging Marc until the end. The gap in quali is only half a second just like it was in Qatar, perhaps Lorenzo can beat Marc if he has a good start and rides a perfect race but I can't see it.

Wow, MM has a 20kph straight line speed advantage over the Yamahas! Little wonder the kid has walked this year so far; sure is has talent beyond his years, but its like Merc vs the rest in F1 machine wise.

First race I've seen for a couple of years. Great racing at the front :D

Dismal commentary. Do we really need to know where Marquez crashed out last year every single time he takes that corner?

Wouldn't go that far, he's still making Dani look average.
