Hinchcliffe is absolutely hilarious. This rain delay is a helluva lot more tolerable with him around.

No charging stations inside the track that I found.

Oh hey, the red truck came back to be thwarted again. A guy with a leaf blower would be as efficient.

Hinch has made it better, so has the impromptu autograph session.

It may be an idea to look for an open slot in the schedule. People are leaving, I can see the taillights.

Rain tomorrow? Looked at my radar, there's cells around home heading this way. Meaning rain at midnight is very likely.

Now they've rescheduled for the same time as F1, but I understand they don't have much room since it's Sunday and they can't run later in the day due to that.

I wonder why they're starting it so late, 11 AM would have been better to not interfere with F1 and vise versa.

The worst part. Return traffic. ****.

The race broadcast has been moved to CNBC since it seems the F1 race has been moved to NBCSN.
Because of news covering the nightclub attack I'm assuming.

Yeah, I'm not there today. Didn't wake up feeling great, got some things to do at home. Look at the 50 people in the stands...

No, I'm still pissed. Sorry Indycar.

The track still isn't dry. Completely ridiculous effort by those employed by Eddie Gossage.
If the soil is as...spiteful...as the rest of North Texas, I shouldn't be surprised. I can go dig a hole in the yard right now and it be dry as a bone, move 10 feet over and maybe two feet lower at the surface and I could have a well started. According to the broadcast they think the jets may be pulling more water out of the ground, and as shifty as the ground is I believe it.

It doesn't help the bottom of the track is below regular ground level.

Should I go back?

Kinda shows how much NASCAR provides in track drying efforts, I didn't ever really know how much they bring in apart from the air titan things.

Plan for a night race. But in all seriousness I'd give it another shot.

Edit: Race is going to start, probably about 3:00. Engines have fired, about to roll off pitlane.

I did, look what happened.

Just started the engines, by the time I get there the race'll be half over. Maybe next year. :indiff:
