Overnight and morning rain but the track is dry now. 50 lap race, 3-4 stops, but tires will be a factor. Stretching and saving fuel to lap 13 will save a pit stop and be very boring so lets hope that does not happen.

Are you ready for Road America? These cars and these drivers will get turned loose later today. Good luck to all drivers and teams competing today.

Yeah, Road America should invested in making a extended pit exit at year's end.

Already been a few hairy moments in a otherwise good race.

I wonder if anyone's going to try the alternates on the last stint.
Everybody that can make it to lap 39 will.

EDIT: actually looking at the lap times there is almost no difference and whoever has sticker tires left will likely be the choice-blacks or reds.

Who taught these guys how to hook up a car to the tow truck? That's the second time it's fallen.

I'm still in awe of that wicked high-speed pass Tony Kanaan made earlier in the race. Takes some real courage to pull off a pass like he did with all four tires still on the road.

TK drove his heart out there, wish he'd been the winner but happy for Will Power winning this one as his season's kinda sucked.

I am gutted for Tony Kanaan not to win this one, but he surely put on a stellar drive. Can't complain with his performance today. All congratulations to Mr. Will Power. The final few laps were quite interesting. Almost like it was the final round of an intense boxing battle, and it was surely gloves off. This was a very cool race.

Up next... Iowa in two weeks time. The short oval track that rides like an intermediate oval. So IndyCar stays in the great Midwest but go from dairy country to the Hawkeye State.
