Who will be the first team to launch their car with something other than the Soft tire?

I suppose Ferrari will opt for the Super Soft?

I didn't like the shark fins, until now .

Haas might use the medium or super soft.

Edit: Sorry for the double post.

I assume people use the soft because Pirelli's tires usually have yellow markings (street, GT racing etc.).

So is it yellow or gold or sand? Everyone and their filter seem to be capturing something else.

Don't worry, I won't tell. ;)

Yeah, I was looking back at some of the other launch photos from last year, and I have not found a car that did not have the Soft tires on it. Likely that Pirelli gets to direct that.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. :)

"Hey, should we just use the same livery as last year?"
"Nah, we should use the livery we ran in testing last season."
"I know! We'll have both!"

Seriously, look good! Real simple, nice highlighting, and shark fin. 👍

I think all three cars so far have looked spectacularly good, for an F1 car. Much more menacing look than the previous few years.

You know F1 is back when the back marker and midfield teams are sporting beautiful and aggressive looking cars...

Since some people said about the new Sauber livery that it lacked some sponsors, I took it to Photoshop. This is what I came up with.

As you can see, I also painted the shark fin. I tried a bit of shading right were the shark fin connects to the engine cover, but I kinda messed it up a bit. Still, I hope you like it. :)

It will be perfect with the wheels painted in gold

I'm really excited, the cars are looking more dramatic and wild; just as an F1 car should, and so far they look genuinely very nice, which is the first time in a while that an F1 car has done. Oh and those liveries , looking really good, loving the Sauber.

Anyway, very impressed with the Renault, and I'll be one of the few to say I'm really glad shark fins are back, and the new fin design really adds to it, makes the car imo.

Thought I'd add a nice Renault rear end shot..

It's funny, this is the only reason I even know what you are talking about.
A few years sgo, SPEED sent a crew out to cover the Bathurst 1000 live. One of the presenters (Mike Joy?) was asked on Twitter about Vegemite, and he said that it looks like axle grease, spreads like axle grease, and tastes like axle grease.

It's an acquired taste to say the least.

These new F1 cars are all going to have longer wheelbases to accommodate large, exotic barge boards and other aero appendages between the wheels. Some of these devices will remain secret until the first race, and will evolve rapidly during the season, so the season will develop with much technical interest and advantage at stake. Between the wheels may be where the war is fought, won and lost!?

Another curious fact, this generation of F1 cars will be the heaviest since the 1951 Alfas and Talbots. Will they be the longest and widest ever?

Yeah, I think that's what it was missing. Nice detail with the driver number.

Hang on, let me add a few of these: :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
