They (all the teams) better get their reliability way up by Le Mans or it's gonna be an interesting race for the Privateer LMP1 teams.

The Manor ovetaking for P3, wow!

Toyota want to do one last lap on hybrid only, to secure championship points.

I'm pretty sad about that actually. It looked so promising, especially with all the Porsches falling out, and generally speaking with the terrible season last year I was hoping for a Toyota victory.

Now the ugly duck scored a win, oh well. Well done, Audi! :)

The only thing F1 has going for it is less drivers to keep track of. One driver per car is nice and I know who to root for instead of just rooting for a team in general.

Just goes to show nothing interesting happens in endurance racing ever. No wonder people prefer F1 where you have no clue who will win the race or anything else like that.

Gotta give credit to F1 for one thing though: It... nah, scratch that. lol

Oh, come on!

Considering the last two years, F1 is at least in some aspects more interesting. Of course, it's quite obvious who's going to win, but the mid-field is more competitive than ever.

So sad for Toyota. They were the class of the field today. Even with their damage on the #6 car, Kobayashi was putting in laps that were near as fast as the lead #5. He caught the Audi and got his lap back then had to pit and never returned :( At least the #5 did that final electric lap to do one more total than the #1 Porsche, taking the finish and sealing 4th place in class for 12 points. Amazing and sad all at the same time. This was the worst and best race I've seen this year, in a long time actually.

I have only just finished watching the 6h Spa because I was working yesterday. What an incredible race! It had everything you associate with motorsport, and if you are not a fan of any one team, but the entire series then it will be a long time before that race is bettered.

I reckon even the 2015 Nissan GT-R LM Nismo could have won that race.
;)

However, being a die-hard Toyota fan I was getting very excited indeed seeing the #5 leading comfortably and the #6 gaining on the Audi despite having had several issues until I saw that white smoke come from the #5 on the 2h remaining mark. The life drained from me. @trustjab above summed it up perfectly. It had the highs and lows of emotions for a Toyota fan.

However, it is better to have these issues now several weeks before the 24h du Mans so as to have sufficient time to hopefully rectify them. If we see as much unreliability through the classes during Le Mans then we may see a GTE car as overall winner!

I find the amount of free time in this video disturbing

How nice that the #8 finally got a win! Di Grassi is the first Brazillian to win in a top tier Le Mans sanctioned prototype since Boesel, who was world champion with Jaguar in 1987!

After those two races, I dare to say that Rebellion is my favourite for Le Mans. Everybody else will get delayed because hybrid/turbo related reasons.
