they test at monza every year.Even though it's only a test, I'll still be excited to see LMP1 Return to Monza.
I've seen Audi, and I think Porsche, test at Monza but I cannot recall it being an official WEC test. The Prologue is usually held at Paul Ricard HTTT.They test at Monza every year.
This is the first time WEC history that Paul Ricard won't be hosting the prologue.I've seen Audi, and I think Porsche, test at Monza but I cannot recall it being an official WEC test. The Prologue is usually held at Paul Ricard HTTT.
I know. I am looking forward to seeing them all blast by in the blink of an eye. Something about Paul Ricard HTTT irritates me. I think it is the horrendous sterility of the place. This is the first time in WEC history that Paul Ricard won't be hosting the Prologue.
Wasn't it owned by Bernie Ecclestone?I know. I am looking forward to seeing them all blast by in the blink of an eye. Something about Paul Ricard HTTT irritates me. I think it is the horrendous sterility of the place.
Yep. Did he sell it?Wasn't it owned by Bernie Ecclestone?
I think there are something like 169 configurations. Imagine a game developer including that lot!Too many variations and I don't know the track so I have no idea where they're gonna go. Also all those painted lines just look dated.
AMR and AF Corsa have also tested thereI've seen Audi, and I think Porsche, test at Monza but I cannot recall it being an official WEC test. The Prologue is usually held at Paul Ricard HTTT.
Exactly. I google the track to find a map to go along with the race and I have no idea what version they're using.Yep. Did he sell it?

I wouldn't be surprised if it did. WeatherTech won't be running with the WEC next year unless the WEC move their US 2017 race to May as well, so all of us who attended won't be getting the thrill of 2 races in 1 day.The race's continuation may have hinged on how successful it was. If it didn't meet expectations, WEC could easily move the American round elsewhere.
Right. But that's only some of the teams. Now we get to see everyone (with at least one car) run Monza. What I hope for is they run without the first chicane. That might be too much to ask, though.AMR and AF Corsa have also tested there
When Audi have tested at Monza they ran without the first chicane. They could vary it from one session to another too I guess.Right. But that's only some of the teams. Did someone put a Toyota through a photocopier at 3/4?
I'm not seeing much Toyota in that. Oreca 05 yes but not Toyota.Did someone put a Toyota through a photocopier at 3/4?

I actually think the previous Ligier was the 2nd most beautiful modern LMP ever made (2000 and up). The only one topping that is the R15 TDI. Yes I know I have a severe case of loving ugly race cars. The Ligier JS P217 is undoubtedly better looking than the current model which is horrendously ugly. Hopefully we see some better photos soon.

Really?! I bet you thought the Panoz Esperantey was good looking too...I actually think the previous Ligier was the 2nd most beautiful modern LMP ever made (2000 and up). The only one topping that is the R15 TDI. Yes I know I have a severe case of loving ugly race cars.
The Esperante was decent looking but it was kinda overshadowed by the likes of the Mercedes CLK and McLaren.Really?! I bet you thought the Panoz Esperante was good looking too...
I did like the R15 TDI though.
A few Oreca staff doesn't mean they designed the car. Not much variation in the lmp cars, if a manufacturer looks at the different solutions of others, they may copy another design because it works.I forgot Oreca have no involvement with Toyota........
