Maybe he's gone to work for

If that's so, then that means if i hurt myslef doing a backflip, Edwards will provide me with some great economical health coverage.

Looks like butt, IMO.

Hey, at least they've still got a lot of contours in the nose though, unlike the piss-poor job Ford did by rounding over their whole nose and making all the details decals again.

I like the look of the new Camry for NASCAR. It actually looks like a Camry, which is what the Gen 6 cars were supposed to bring back, the ability to see the street car in what is being raced.

Nice visual for newer viewers, and especially with the revolving doors that are modern-era sponsor deals.

That's why you put a big number on the sides and roof.
Then you get the issues like Chase Elliott's car where they make the numbers near invisible on the sides due to them being the same color as the majority of the side.

When it was introduced(the name thing), I was hoping they'd let the drivers put their personal touches on it, kinda like how Late Model and SLM guys do.

This heat race thing, I've thought about it a little and as long as it gets implemented at certain tracks it should be a good thing. Certain tracks being the notoriously snoozy races such as New Hampshire, California, Dover, Pocono, and other known offenders. It would probably also do well if there was a last chance qualifier heat too.

One of the other NASCAR pages on Facebook has stated that John Wes Townley is retiring from the sport as well. Less caution laps is now a given.

First, Brian Scott, now John? This sport is falling apart. /s

Calling it now: NASCAR will introduce The Caution Clock and those awful "Dash 4 Cash" format races to the Premier Series.

Looks like I'll be keeping my promise from last year. Caution clock comes in, I go out. I'm not watching timed cautions in the hopes of better racing because all it will do is cause more crashes.

I swear to god this better not be that BS we heard about on Tuesday.....

The clock's ticking. And I mean the doom's day clock for high-tier stockcar racing in North America. If it's the botched heat system or caution clock...ugh.

Trans AM is making a comeback baby! :P But actually I haven't watched any so I have no idea if it's any good or not.

NASCAR is seemingly doing everything in their power to hand the reigns back over to Trans-Am. If those dolts can get their **** together (financially/management) they have a real chance. :P

Lets not get ahead of ourselves now

Honestly if Trans-Am wanted to come back to being a popular series, they need to ditch the Tube-Frame cars altogether and adopt GT3 and GT4. They are so stuck in the past, that they aren't realizing the best way to grow is to move forward.

It's alright, the only issue is it's far more spec, and not all that much like its glory days. It's hard to have that in a world of GT3 or GT4 racing.

Why does N. America need ANOTHER GT3 or GT4 series when we've already got quite a few. Just gonna dilute it even more.

The US has 2, Mexico has 0, and Canada has 0. GT3 and GT4 is a great option because with a few BoP changes any car can race anywhere in the world. For once in a very long time, team's can easily go after the crown jewel races of the world again. It's no longer a mess of "Well we need a Grand-Am GT car for the Rolex 24, need a car for the PWC if we want to race at St. Petersburg, a GTE car for Le mans, and a GT1 or 2 car for the N24...so we have to choose only 1 or 2 we can do". 1 car can do it all now (except Le Mans, but if you have a Ferrari GT3 you can get the GTE kit that Ferrari provides, if you get invited of course).

I know all of this. Canada couldn't sustain it's own GT3 series by itself, and I'd go out on a limb and say the same for Mexico as well.

GT3 cars can also race in SCCA GT-1, iirc.

Making TA go to GT3/GT4 would WRECK the series even more. Hell, the only reason TA-1 is still A Thing is due to the fact the elderly dudes that run the cars won't give them up.

That's more of a problem with the series itself if its become a training ground that people grow in the lower ranks then leave. It wouldn't ruin it anymore than the series already is.
