They raced at Albert Park sans lights just fine so, there shouldn't be any problems at SMP.Tander has said the lights work fine. He and Giz, supposedly, did a test last night.
He was saying they had to adjust the lights for the look on tv. Which, we at home, couldn't see much of at Albert Park. They raced at Albert Park sans lights just fine so, there shouldn't be any problems at SMP.
at Scott's post.
Not a fan of headlights being advertisement space.Still, proper lights would be better than the pinholes the cars use now.
Same. To add, when I saw the E63s up close at the AGP, those only had the DRLs with no fitting for headlights. It wasn’t until last year’s Clipsal, while I was wandering through the Super 2 paddock, that I realised the Falcon headlights aren’t covered in a big sticker. It really is the one tiny “pinhole”, as 05XR8 put it, on each side. I was under the impression that they still ran the road car headlights.
So Barbagallo this weekend, always enjoyed the action at this track....Does any one know if there is a virtual version for Assetto Corsa or Rfactor2 floating about anywhere ? (and if so is it any good)
Don’t have either game but I have seen gameplay on YouTube of a Barbagallo mod for AC, which I’m pretty sure was a conversion from Rfactor, so I’d imagine they’d be a Rfactor 2 mod as well.
My prediction is that the ZB Commodore will sell so few & with it needing total replacement thanks to GM selling Opel to the French, it'll be the last Commodore ever.I knew they'd allow it. Let's do it. Anything that's viable to keep the series going. Maybe in time, four door sedans make a come back. For now, feels like group A/C all over again.

Holden, whether they choose to admit it or not, is in danger of extinction.
The other models in their range are mediocre at best & potential customers aren't fools.
They can do better elsewhere.
For me, it's only a matter of time before Holdens are gone from Supercars & those that don't race Mustangs will race Camaros.
If Nissan surprise me & choose to hang in there, some will race the GT-R. Surely that's the only feasible option.
If Nissan aren't keen on a dumbed down version that complies with Supercar rules, maybe they need to look at their marketing from another angle.
Imagine this: a GT-R NISMO (or whatever the top model is) road car versus a GT-R Supercar, showing just how close it can get to a 600bhp+ race car.
It's still amazing, cars qualifying in .5 seconds and at the end of the grid. Tough game VASC. Simona leading the charge. Here's hoping her race pace is good to finish cleanly.Qualifying dud for Nissan.
Coupe 60? Anyone? Anyone?GM should just use a restyled Camaro and sell it as Monaro in Australia. They’d sell like hot cakes if done right, although some might be sceptical as it wouldn’t be Australian built (they could just use Australian design as the tagline though).
I just think it's so far removed from a 'traditional' Commodore that they should've dropped the nameplate altogether.I'm kind of lost on your wanting a car to fail that you bring it up a bit often...
Not sure why it will be the last Commodore ever. Holden is still owned by GM as long as that's the case they could bring back the name plate, with the sedan dying out, doesn't seem necessary to keep it around though. So the best option is a Camaro with hopefully a Holden name plate.
I think you'll both find most Aussies agree that Chevrolet build Camaros, Holden used to build Monaros in Australia & it's forbidden to mix'n'match.GM should just use a restyled Camaro and sell it as Monaro in Australia. The market though. I'd like to see the preorders at Walkinshaw, for the Camaro. The SS-V did get the G8 option(no doubt to clear stock). So, a "Monaro" front clip and taillight option- a'la Firebird, might be a good sell. Not to mention, from a collector's point of view, Camaros will be small in number. Now, how much that costs for design, tooling, etc., I don't know. We'll see what happens during these next 18 months.I think you'll both find most Aussies agree that Chevrolet build Camaros, Holden used to build Monaros in Australia & it's forbidden to mix'n'match.
If you can find them, watch some of the old races there from the late 80's.Wasn't it illegal to run all four wheels outside the white line on the final turn last year? I noticed all the Tickford cars doing it
