Didn't the ball deflect off Bernardo Silva's arm onto TAA's arm, either way, swings and roundabouts after Firminho's 'non' goal against Villa,
And here's Fabinho's goal;

Liverpool are still going to screw this up before the end of the season.

Liverpool were 7 points clear in January last season. There is still a long way to go but of course, an 8 point lead now so soon is very healthy and puts them in a position where, should they hit a bad run of form now, they are most likely going to be in a recoverable position and still have enough games to play.

Man City on the other hand have a tough run in; 6 players out injured and they have upcoming games against Leicester, Chelsea and Spurs. Leicester are proving themselves to be a real threat.

I think Liverpool have this, Man City are the only team that can genuinely match them, but they are not as clinical as last season.

To declare it over before even Christmas is just ludicrous. Man City has too much firepower and can easily go on a tear the later half of the season. Their injured players will be coming back. Liverpool needs to just worry about their own business and hope that they don't have any significant injuries of their own.

That Man City v. Chelsea game after this international break should be very interesting.

I actually think that Liverpool has earned enough footballing credit to win the EPL.
Yes I'd agree. Over last season and this so far they have been very impressive. But they are Liverpool.

The Spanish Supercup will be played in Saudi Arabia for the next 3 year, 4 teams will play a mini tournament there.

Of course this isn't about money at all, but it is to help Saudi Arabia out of their dark ages.
Fans, both men and women are welcome, and there will be no dresscode for the women, they don't have to be accompanied by men, and they are allowed to sit anywhere in the stadium, something that wasn't available for them when the Italians went there to fill their pockets.

Did you also know that European referees go to Saudi Arabia to blow their whistle there? And that we have one of biggest hypocritical refs out there? The man is gay, quite outspoken about it and still goes to the desert, where acting gay is punishable by death, to fill his pockets.

English referee Mark Clattenberg quit his job as a Premier League ref to become the new head of the Saudi refs' association.

Everybody's got a price even if their life is on the line, I guess.

It's everyone else who's getting carried away with calling the title race over. Liverpool fans have seen enough times the team has screwed up than we're not going to celebrate until the maths confirm it.

One slip up and City are right back in it.

Leicester City that is :D

It's crazy calling Leicester "Fresh blood", when they were champions less than 5 years ago. Liverpool are the odd ones out in the top 4 and are overdue the title.

Out of any team in the top flight, Liverpool are playing the best football to watch. Can't say they don't deserve to be in the position they are now.

Neil Warnock has left Cardiff, they currently sit 14th after relegation from the Premier League last season and they have lost back to back derby games to Swansea and Bristol City.

Its no real surprise this I don't think, Warnock did an amazing job but they need a younger voice there, plus they have had an extremely bad year, off the pitch especially.

I forget who they were playing last season but Neil was furious with the officials (no surprise there) and at the end of the game he went out to where they were standing on the pitch as the players came by and shook their hands. Neil just stood off about maybe 10 ft away with his hands on his hips just staring at them. You could almost see the smoke coming out of his ears. It was so funny.

Raheem Sterling has been dropped from the England squad after a 'disturbance' in training today, its been widely reported that there was an altercation involving him and Liverpool's Joe Gomez as Gomez was dishing out a bit of banter over their win over Sterling's club Man City on Sunday, both Sterling and Gomez were also involved in a minor altercation during the game on Sunday.

Its been a long time coming but Bernardo Silva has finally been given his punishment for that tweet, he has to serve a one-match ban and is fined £50,000, he must also complete face-to-face education training after admitting breaching FA rules.

I thought I saw something on the ESPN crawl that Liverpool were concerned Mo Salah re-aggravated his left ankle injury in the Man City game on Sunday. It looked to me like he did but I hadn't heard for sure.

I'm surprised the FA didn't ban Fernando Forestieri for six games for that offence.

56 games.
52 goals.
17 assists.

I know its only the MLS but for a 38-year old that record is simply astonishing.

Dizzee Rascal just popped into my ears after reading that.

Protip: If you're thinking about sacking your manager, think about who would take them in a heartbeat. If the answer is Real Madrid and Man United then you're probably being really really stupid.

One of the higher rated comments on the page thus far, and one I cant really disagree with. Who on earth is going to be the replacement?

Mourinho hot favourite for the job, Poch gets £12.5 million compensation!
