This race finally makes me a Waters fan! That final lap felt 'Winterbottom/Whincup'-esque!

Doesn't look like it will be Scott after all.

I'm really curious as to which team DJR would work in conjunction with. If we can work that out I think it will give us a clue as to the drivers, and at the moment I'm completely stumped.

I can't even think of a team running DJR gear except for the old FGX that Tickford are running in Super 2 for Zac Best, and I don't know of anyone that they've ever shared technical data with either, but I suppose that's of less value to anyone this close to the end of Gen 2.

Blanchard's car is an ex Tickford one isn't it?

Wild swing here, as I don't think he's got the proper license, Jett Johnson?

Well, here's your answer. DJR sold one of their spares to Anderson Motorsport and will be providing "minimal" technical support during the race.

I agree with Percat. We need to change up the format. Go back to the three day format. Sure we can have the three race format at some events but not most of them. But maybe more events outside of the street circuit events to have two longer races that involves strategy. And maybe have a 500km enduro before Bathurst. But yeah the sprint races are starting to die out. We won't have every sprint race like what we saw at Winton race 1&3.

BRT's indigenous livery.

This thing is fantastic. Boost Mobile liveries for me have started to fall into the Monster Energy and Red Bull category of nice but pretty boring. This livery is maybe the best they've done since their GRM days.

I think it's really sad that more teams are getting on board with the Indigenous Round than the Retro Round:grumpy:

I think it's great that we have this round. It creates amazing liveries which so far have been all amazing. But also there messages behind them all are what make them so special.

Yes I miss retro round too, but let's wait and see what happens this year. You never know what happens next.

Just to piggyback on your first sentence. During my citizenship ceremony, the Lord Mayor and honoured guests, were making comments on upcoming native relations. I don’t know what those are, but they mentioned strengthening the relationships and giving back to native communities.
I know cars have run the liveries before and I understand Supercars made this mandatory. Of course, this is for entertainment and although It’s not a perfect relationship, Australia seem genuine about acknowledging Indigenous heritage. I’ll at least give SC a thumbs up. for being on track like some other sports that acknowledge Australia’s Indigenous heritage.

It's sad because I really like retro liveries and Sandown is my local track.
I like the retro liveries as well. They should make that round compulsory as well.

Although these extra liveries go against the whole ''we're trying to cut costs'' mantra, I think they're worth it for the extra exposure and the ''something different'' factors.
