If the Jets didn't commit 3 personal fouls on the first Giants drive of the 2nd half, the game would have probably ended 10-6.
Yep. Then that offsides penalty on that last punt attempt by the Giants near end of the game was horrible too. They made too many mistakes coming off of bye and that is unacceptable for them to play that poorly

What happens when you're a coach that underwhelms and doesn't win much? You get canned. On the coaching market is Josh McDaniels, who was let go by the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders recently failed on Monday Night Football at the Detroit Lions. The Raiders now sit at 3-5, tied with the Denver Broncos for 3rd place in the AFC West. They have now lost two straight games.

On a different note, someone asked me in a Twitch chat if I think the referees have been bad this season. I told him that part of the Pass Interference call against the Texans was atrocious, as there was not a Panther even near that uncatchable ball. That was on the drive that ultimately led to the Panthers winning against my Texans. Anyhow... how do you think the referees have done so far this season?

McDaniels has always been a fraud. Brady is the reason that Belichick's regime became a dynasty. The rest of that coaching tree is just rotten.

Yeah, with the quick turnaround in Tampa, and the quick fall of New England, maybe Belichick isn't the GOAT coach. Maybe the luckiest? Well, outside of benching Bledsoe for Brady, that was all Belichick.

The first Thursday Night Football of November 2023 involves the Tennessee Titans at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Enjoy tonight's action from the Steel City if you will be watching or following!

Belichick is great. There's no doubt. But what also isn't in doubt is that his coaching tree is just abysmal. Everyone that branches off of BB is just total calamity.

Pittsburgh Steelers GIF

Don't know how we're 5-3 - just smoke, mirrors and TJ Watt.

There is something in that Watt blood that makes defensive monsters.

My fantasy injury curse has struck this season. Achane, and Kyren Williams at RB. But the worst has to be the injury to Kirk. Man never gets hurt. I draft him this year and he blows his achillies. I do not like that!!

I have (had?) Barkley, Jefferson, Chubb, Cousins, Gano and Friermuth plus some other chumps this year....yeah, worst luck ever.

Right, I watched the NFL for the first time on TV at the London games, and I’m hooked. I have Sky TV as well so looks as though they will show one live game for both Sunday slots, as well as all the other one off-dates (ie TNF), as well as NFL Redzone, which might be worth a watch. I have decided to support the Ravens, as they won the London game I watched. It seems we have a really good quarterback, and Odell Beckham Jr, who I had heard of before I got into the NFL as well. Honestly, what are the Ravens chances of winning the Super Bowl, and where so they need to strengthen? They look pretty handy to win their division and go on to the playoffs, it’s just a case of whether they can win it all?

They're contenders for sure, but they have a tough conference to get through in the playoffs. At some point, they'd likely play the Chiefs, Dolphins, Jags, or Bills. They also have a decently tough schedule going against the Seahawks this week, then the Browns (which has a good defense), the Bengals, Jags, 49ers, and then Dolphins. Depending on how the Steelers do, the last game of the season for them could determine who wins the AFC North.

Lamar needs to stay healthy too, which is always a wildcard when it comes to mobile QBs. Tyler Huntley isn't bad (he played at Utah and I watched him a ton), but he's not Lamar.

The Ravens also always have one of the best kickers in NFL history too with Justin Tucker. He can bomb 60+ yard field goals so the Ravens always have a chance at putting 3 on the board with every possession.

NFL action is going on right now in Germany, but I wanted to pop in here to hype the Sunday matches. Did you remember to set your clocks BACK one hour if you observe Daylight Saving Time? Enjoy today's games, including the nightcap of the Buffalo Bills at Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals!

This game was total BS. So many penalties you’d think it was Nuremberg not Frankfurt. The last 4th down was a sure touchdown over the middle. It’s shocking that they had an opportunity, but this is a first round exit playoff team at best.

The Houston Texans played a stressful game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where many players went down to injury. This game ended up being a 39-37 win for Houston. A wing and a prayer victory for Houston today. WOW! CJ Stroud racked up 470 pass yards, most by a rookie in NFL history, surpassing Andrew Luck's 433 yards. Houston ends up splitting the NFC South part of their schedule. Houston is now 4-4 on the season, one win better than their record last year.

UP NEXT: Hey, Dolph Drago... your Bengals and my Texans will have a little play date next Sunday in Cincinnati. CJ Stroud played his college ball in the state of Ohio at Ohio State. So this is kind of a homecoming for him. Let's play!

Congratulations to all other winners this week! What did your boys do this week?

[OMISSION] CJ Stroud had 470 yards and five touchdowns in this game. He is the 6th player in NFL history to have 450 passing yards, 5 touchdowns, and no interceptions in a game.

Maybe. Remember, you beat the Cardinals and they are still behind you at 1-8. Panthers also only have 1 win.
Oh, there's enough season left for us

The Panthers don't even own their pick it belongs to Chicago because they traded it to them for Bryce Young 🤣

Absolute beast of a drive and performance to seal the win from CJ. Having no kicker for the second half certainly made things a hell of a lot more difficult. Shout out to the back up RB taking kick offs and even nailing a FG. How many times does a kicker* get injured ffs!.

Guess who has said kicker in my fantasy team. :banghead:

I think I forgot to mention Denver, Detroit, San Francisco, and Jacksonville were off this week. If I did mention that, then I'm sorry- disregard this message.

Cincinnati Bengals won 24-18 hosting the Buffalo Bills. Those confident in the Bills may likely have shaky amounts of confidence in the Bills moving forward in the 2023 season. Now...

Chargers at Jets TONIGHT!

In the shadow of New York City, the Jets welcome the Los Angeles Chargers in an AFC showdown.

  • LAC Chargers (3-4, 3rd in AFC West) at NYJ Jets (4-3, 2nd in AFC East)
  • FAVORED: LAC (-3.5)
  • OVER/UNDER 39.5 pts.

39.5? I'm guessing the sportsbook people predict this one will be an offensive struggle. Anyhow... enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching or following!

It will be a struggle. Jets offense is ranked last in the league I believe. Amazingly Zach Wilson leads the league in 4th qtr comebacks. I think that is do in part to them running the hurry up which stands to reason they should do that more since ZW doesn't have to think and he can get rid of the ball fast. I think the Jets will slow down the Chargers offense but I am not confident they will win. This is a game that they need to win if they want to try to win the division or at the very least make the playoffs. The entire division lost yesterday so it stands to reason since they are the Jets they will lose. I hope they can win but the Jets always find new and different ways to be the Jets 🤣

Well the Jets gonna Jet. Everything in front of them and come up with a stinker right now it's 26-6 Zach Wilson has been sacked 6 times turned the ball over. This is just wretched. Hackett is a terrible play caller and this is disgusting. It's like the Jets watched the Giants and were like their amateurs we can show them how you truly look sorry. When does Aaron Rodgers come back? 🤣

No QB protection and no ball protection = no loss protection.

The New York Jets got grounded and thunderstruck by the Los Angeles Chargers 27-6 last night. Not a good Monday night in East Rutherford, NJ.

We now hit the double digit week numbers. Welcome to Week 10! Allow me to share some of the upcoming games this week...

* This week's party gets started in Chicago as the Chicago Bears host the Carolina Panthers for Thursday Night Football.

* Frankfurt, Germany will be the site of an AFC battle between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots.

* After a legendary performance last week and with loads of praise for their quarterback, what will the Houston Texans do for an encore when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals? GTPlanet inner-forum rivalry!

* After a depressing defeat and with fans wanting their coach to be fired, can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers maintain their hopes to turn around their 2023 season? The Tennessee Titans stand in the Buccaneers' way in Tampa Bay.

* Joshua Dobbs got some love this past weekend for his work about as much as what CJ Stroud got. Maybe his Minnesota Vikings can keep the good times rolling once dem' New Orleans Saints come to Minneapolis. Or will they?

* Baltimore is all alone leading the AFC North. The other three are all tied for 2nd, including the opponent they will host this Sunday at noon- the Cleveland Browns.

* The Arizona Cardinals will try to get their second win of the season when them Dirty Birds visit the desert. That's right- the Atlanta Falcons.

* The Detroit Lions will venture out west to meet the Los Angeles Chargers. Can these cats from Detroit keep their stellar form going?

* Dallas played a stellar game in Philadelphia last week only to lose. Now, the New York Giants will visit the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area to meet the Dallas Cowboys.

* What about the other New York team? Well, the New York Jets will try to entertain the Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas. Find out if Blitz24's boys can take down the Raiders this Sunday Night.

* Monday Night Football features the Buffalo Bills hosting the Denver Broncos. Not the hottest AFC matchup, but an AFC battle nonetheless.

The Raiders moved to Los Angeles and have three teams now? I think you meant "LAS VEGAS Raiders." Usually I'm making the typos, but I wanted to point this out. If you want to take it further, "Cincinnati" and "Buccaneers" are misspelled. Just looking out, mate. :)
