However, that whole chain of cars braked awefully late for the first lap through a tricky section.

I noticed that. And since my brakes are so powerful that was actually what I was hoping for. It was my plan that most people would miss their mark and I would be able to easily sail past them. It would have worked out really well for me had I not been slammed.

Overall a great night though, and I can't complain after the 100 grand I made from the ring.

I waited for you guys to finish your 4 lapper and then you all decided to switch to Daytona Road on 'ring night..... The only incident I had last night was lag-punting Shark on the entrance to the first straightaway where I didn't even make contact on my screen. Because he didn't throw a tantrum like a pissed off 8 year old when it happened and pull out the ignorant retard voice, I promptly left the race after the chicane between the straights so it wouldn't happen again and apologized to Shark. I thought I was bad for complaining about contact but Brandofo is even worse.

Is that you being hostile because I called you out? I'm trying to defend you by blaming it on the lag but when someone gets all defensive over a simple comment it usually means they're guilty. Don't paint yourself into that picture man, I'm sure it was your connection issues. You could even see in the video your super huge lag burnout on the bank before the chicane, so I'm pretty sure that was the cause of it.

Trust me, I wasn't thrilled about that choice either. I joined specifically for a night of 450pp racing at the Ring. But the rest of it was pretty fun too.

Edit: I see you added more to your post after I responded. And the only response I have to that is to check the post count tally of this thread. That guy only posted once which is way less than you and me. He tends to participate in a large number of events in little spurts and doesn't seem to commit to anything long term. That's probably because he can't race clean to save his life so after 1 event somewhere he moves on to a different series. I've raced with him before and I'm never thrilled to see his name show up anywhere (be it here or in the game). I have a well documented incident between he and I on the final lap of an 80 lap race at Rome. He's dirty and unapologetic, I was moments away from quitting when he showed up... but I knew that his style of driving would put him well behind me on the Ring.

The punt was due to lag, plain and simple. The burnout beforehand is proof. I drove through a cloud of smoke before coming to that turn. It's not your fault you have lag Ssyd but if you can't figure out your connection it is going to cause havoc with other drivers.

We were running Nurburgring for over an hour last night. People kept coming and going and it took forever to start the actual race. However that track simply isn't conducive to online racing. It's very tight with little to no room to pass. The slightest bit of lag will punt someone even on a clean pass. Perhaps if we run it again, we'll just do some 1-lap sprints.

No kidding. Calm down, man. Nobody is slandering you for your driving. Every post regarding you has been about your lag. It's not something that you can help during a race, but as chuyler pointed out... you really should get it sorted so you won't even have any issues anymore. From what I could tell when you weren't skittering across the track, you ARE a clean driver; I'd like for you to have no issues so we can race wheel to wheel.

Ssyd, I know you're a good driver, probably better than me. I've had several battles with you over the past month or so which are always exciting. However the lag issue is obvious. I went back to find some good examples of your driving in my videos. I found one which highlights both your skill and your lag.

Skip to the last lap. I went wide trying to keep up with the other Elise and you came up, pulled off a great pass on the outside and pulled away like I was standing still. However, there was some banging as you passed (lag), and your car jumps forward and back through the tunnel (more lag), and when crossing the finish line your car goes completely haywire (holy lag batman!). Its not your driving...its just the lag.

you did it a number of times and not just to me. I know we all make mistakes, but i saw you do it to me and to others repeatedly. If you think your car is faster, then you need to drive more cautiously when there are slower cars in front of you. Just because you can set a fast lap doesn't give you the right to push the slower cars out of your way. In short: EVERYONE NEEDS TO ADJUST THEIR BRAKING POINTS WHEN THERE IS A CAR AHEAD.

Graham, I hit you once on an 80 lap race in a 600HP car with zero tread on the tires. It was handled via PM with the race stewards and you feel the need to bring that up in this thread? I have only hit one person one time ever in any series so you have no reason to bitch and moan. That issue was resolved and the results adjusted. I've won races in that Monday series since so don't act like you know how I drive from that one race. I have been a clean racer in every race. The example you cited was the only time I have ever hit someone like that so don't act like you know it is a pattern when it's not.
